POV TRAEVON ERIKSSON
Belfast, Northern Ireland. The former Guardian named Raviael is now living in an isolated farm here in Belfast. His exact location is not known even to the First Heirs of the Werewolf Clan.
Only the current Royal Heir knows his whereabouts, and that is me.
I can easily contact Raviael, but since I am on vacation, I might as well bring Caelen here in Belfast. I want to stay with her longer. If I can prolong our vacation, I would gladly do it.
"Kung former Guardian si Raviael, sino na ang new Guardian?" tanong ni Caelen habang nasa loob kami ng rental car papunta sa farm ni Raviael.
"The former Demon King and his wife."
"The Demon King of Lilith? Ang wife ba ng Demon King ang sinasabi mo na White Witch na nagpagaling sa Aunt Gwenevere mo?"
"Yes, my parents are also good friends of these Guardians. They don't usually stay here in our realm. Most of the time, they are time-traveling. Too complicated Guardian tasks."
Dahil sa interest ni Caelen tungkol sa mga Werewolf, madali niya natutunan ang brief Werewolf history at Werewolf terminologies. Paghinto ng sasakyan ay nandoon na nag-aabang sa amin ang isang na babae at lalaki na parehong may blonde na buhok. They are wearing ordinary clothes and yet their faces look angelic.
This is the former Guardian Raviael and his assistant, Phoebe. They are both humans now with no powers. I guess their only power is their immortality.
"I felt your presence when you landed in Belfast. Joah visited me a few months ago. I know that it is only a matter of time before the Royal Heir personally visits me," sabi ni Raviael at pinatuloy nila kami sa kanilang maliit na bahay.
"Bakit Royal Heir ang tawag sa'yo?" bulong ni Caelen.
"Royal Heir ang tawag sa Direct Heir ni Alpha Ezra. May Royal Heir Plus, Royal Heir Ultra at meron din Royal Heir Pro," biro ko sa kanya.
Nagpout lang ito ng labi na parang hindi naniniwala sa sagot ko. Sa pagkakaalam ko ay maraming farms dito si Raviael sa Northern Ireland at sa Scotland. Sila mismo ni Phoebe ang nag-aalaga ng mga hayop at halaman dito.
"Raviael, this is Caelen San Rafael, a newbie Werewolf. A friend of mine," pakilala ko kay Caelen habang nasa loob kami ng living room.
Ngumiti si Raviael sa kanya at hinawakan ang kamay ni Caelen. Akala ko ay hahalikan niya ang kamay nito, pero mukhang nakatitig lang ito sa daliri mga daliri niya.
"You are missing a ring, Ms. San Rafael," nakangiti na sabi ni Raviael.
"Po? Anong ring po?"
"Your wedding ring?"
Tinignan ko mabuti ang kamay ni Caelen, pero wala naman bakas ng wedding ring dito. Hindi ko alam kung anong nakikita ni Raviael sa daliri ni Caelen.
"Wedding ring po? Ay naku, single po ako! Wala po akong asawa pero parang may singsing nga po ako dati sa ring finger pero hindi po wedding ring. Ay hindi ko na maalala, matagal na po 'yon!"
"Are you sure you are not married?"
"Sure po, very single and ready to mingle po ako, Mr. Brad Pitt."
Humalakhak lang si Raviael sa sinabi ni Caelen. Noong unang kita ko kay Raviael ay bakas ang pagkakahawig nito sa matinee idol noon na si Brad Pitt.
"Royal Heir, to what do I owe the pleasure of this visit?" tanong ni Raviael at umalis naman si Phoebe para bigyan kami ng privacy.
"I want to know more about the Twelve Demon Knights of Lilith and their leader, the Thirteenth Demon Knight."
