LITA AND I TEXTED EVERYDAY FOR THIS PAST TWO WEEKS. Every evening, when Lita finished work. It's only a three hours time difference, we made it work.

It's crazy how we instantly clicked. Not a day went by without talking with her. We talked about anything and everything going from the weather to childhood memories to what we had for lunch, not to mention flowers and acting and the kids of course.

However, she had no idea we're coming home today. She still thinks we're in LA... we're in a car on our way home. We just left the airport unnoticed, thank god, and as Lita's shop doesn't open until 9:30am, we have to wait at home. She's probably there already, but that'd be a bit rude of us to knock on her door at 8:15 in the morning.

I watch as we drive past the buildings, the city is up, and people are running around to catch the subway, others are walking their dogs, or are on a run. Parents are taking their children to school or just enjoying the morning breeze on a walk with their babies.

Without even noticing, we're already driving in our neighbourhood. I look beside me, checking on Rose who's asleep. This is going to be a pain with our suitcases.

"Come on Rosie we're here."

I grab our suitcase while Rose walks in front of me with her backpack and holding onto her grizzly bear she called Natasha. I'm going to let you guess how she came up with that name.

The first thing she does when I unlock the door is to lay down on the sofa. Not on her bed, not on my bed but our sofa. She put up a fight when I moved her to take her vest off... maybe getting a flight leaving in the middle of the night wasn't a good idea. The little miss is grumpy when she doesn't get enough sleep.

I leave her with some cartoons on and put our luggage away. I empty my bag that is filled with travel necessities we won't need any more.

Eventually I get bored but I still choose to procrastinate. I don't want to do our laundry and sort out our stuff. I can do that later... I don't know when yet. Future me is gonna hate present me but oh well. We watch cartoons while waiting to leave. Neither of us wanting to get breakfast right now, we're obviously still on LA time. We'll just get breakfast on our way to my mother's.

Then it's time to leave, my little girl is suddenly very awake and very excited. She when from 0 to 10 in a millisecond I don't know if I should be impressed or scared. But thank God the walk to Lita's shop isn't too long because Rose literally decided to run there.

When we get to The Flower Garden, it is 9:35am and we quietly walk in. Or try to. I forgot there was a bell though. I was expecting Lita to come out of her office but it doesn't seem like she heard anything. I hope she won't be pissed but we decide to go look for her.

Like predicted, she's in her office. I lean against the doorway, watching her. She's staring at her computer screen, head in the clouds. She not typing anything. With her earbuds in, it makes sense that she didn't hear us come in. She's mumbling the words to the song she's listening to. Though I cannot recognize it.
