"AND DON'T FORGET TO–" I try to tell Leah right as I am about to leave. I keep remembering last minute things... Or maybe I already told ehr all of this and I keep forgetting... Oops. I'm kind of nervous if you couldn't tell.

I'm picking up Scarlett and Rose in half an hour, before picking up Erin, and then we'll be off to Vermont for my sister's wedding. It only hit me now that Scarlett is going to meet my parents... We aren't officially together yet, and we haven't really discussed that topic either, but I am still a nervous wreck.

"I got it. You gave me a list with everything, I have your number if we need you, don't worry. Just go enjoy your sister's wedding alright?" Leah says, pushing me out the door handing me my car keys. "I won't forget to stop by your place to feed Anna. I will take care of the deliveries, don't you worry. Have a nice trip, I will see you Monday morning bright and early. Byyyyye." She drags out, closing the door. She leaves me standing there, like an idiot in front of the shop... my shop.

I get into my car, take a deep breath and here we go. I slowly drive to Scarlett's place. If it were up to me, I wouldn't be driving for many reasons. However, I am in charge of Violet's flowers for the wedding, and I have a bunch of stuff in the boot of the car.

I just hate driving in general, especially the city, but I don't have any other choice. My mother actually almost begged me to fly there, but it was just not possible. Then she tried to convince me to take the train, but again that wasn't possible either. I know she hates it and she's nervous. I promised to send updates every so often, that seemed to calm her down a little bit. If not, she has Rachel and the wedding to fuss about, and Florian and the kids will arrive before us, so she'll hopefully be too distracted to think about it.

I park outside of Scarlett's apartment building and wait for them to calm down. I get out of the car and lean on it as a wait. It isn't long until two blondes come out of the building, one ruining while the other is desperately trying to stop her.

I catch Rose before anything can happen to her and hold her close as Scarlett hurries towards us. "Hey there!" I greet them. After a small chitchat, exchanging quick hugs and how are yous, we get ready to leave again. I take Scarlett's and Rose's bags, puts them in the boot, of course being mindful of the flowers, while Scarlett busies herself buckling Rose in.

"You have a car seat?"Scarlett's voice interrupts my train of thoughts. I look up and watch as she helps Rose in it, but also expecting an answer.

"Well, I got one for Julie a while back, I thought Rose could use it. Is that okay?"

"Of course it is." I hear the click of the seat belt, I close the boot and Scarlett closes Rose's door. We hurry getting in, not wanting to leave Rose alone in the car. I sit down, Scarlett in the passenger seat next to me. I buckle in while Scarlett sort out her bag at her feet. "You can start the car if you want."

"Seatbelt first." I reach to grab it for her, but I end up almost buckling her in.

"Yes ma'am." Scarlett chuckles when I start the car. I take a deep breath, checking everything is okay before I start driving.

Next stop, Erin.

We get there, but of course, she's late as always. That's what I think until I see my best friend barrelling out the building, with three bags in her hands, looking like she was just fighting for her life. She opens the passenger's door like it's second nature, but the seat is already taken. "I'm here, I'm here! Helloooo– Oh."

"Sorry." Scarlett and I say both simultaneously. "I can go sit in the back with Rose, I don't mind at all." Scarlett starts, already unbuckling the seatbelt to get out, but Erin is quick to stop her.
