i just got my food and sat down on my regular table, waiting for nick and matt to come over.

a girl, the most popular girl in school, matts crush, comes over, and sits down!

"hey y/n!" the girl smirks,

"hey!" i reply nicely, hoping she'll go away soon.

"so what's going on with you and chris, the hot boy?" she asks, oh so this is why she's here.

"nothing? we've been friends since we were literally born?" i say in a 'duh' tone.

"oh cool! can you like, set me up with him?" she asks,

"i'll see what i can do." i roll my eyes and wait for her to leave, i wasn't actually going to tell chris about her either.

matt and nick come running over, almost dropping their food.

"what was that about?" nick asks as matt interrupts him,

"did you tell her about me, does she like me, does she know who i am, what did she say about me?" he goes on and on.

"she likes chris." i blurt out as matts face drops.

"i'm sorry matt, she came over and was asking me if i could set her up with him." i explain and nick gives him a side hug.

"hot boy summer for me?" matt says smirking.

"matt, shut up." i giggle.

"my bad." he says as we all giggle.

we finish our food and put our trays and everything away as the bell rings, how fun.
