CHAPTER 41: NEGATIVE
ERIS' POV
"Do you want me to get you a chair?"
"I'm blind, not crippled."
I heard a throaty laugh that I can admit to be a swoon worthy one. Wala nga lang akong balak aminin ng malakas dahil baka may sumama pa ang loob.
"You know, I have thousands of made men under me and you're the only one that talks to me like that." There was a pause before he speaks again, "At least the only one alive."
"So am I on your hit list now then?"
A scream tore through the air, but I didn't even flinch. It's not the first time I heard it, and it also won't be the first time that I won't care.
"I'll kill whomever who likes to try, bellisima."
Napataas ang kilay ko. "And why is that?"
"Because you remind me of my daughter."
I tried not to wince at what he said. Paano ko naman ipapaliwanag sa kaniya na napaniginipan ko siya last week at sa panaginip ko ay tatay siya ng supposed to be ay mga anak ko?
