Naomi POV

     Mariah and I stayed over at Michy's house man that was one hell of a sleepover last night. Man we really turned it up but as you know Michy was talking to Roc on the phone the whole time.


Michy- *laughs* I'm weak did you see the look on her face


Me-*laughs* It was priceless


Michy- Come on lets get ready for school


Me- I am ready for school


Michy- *straight face*  Really Naomi in booty shorts and a bra


Me-*laughs* You know I'm playing girl


Michy- *laughs* Yeah, right


*Doorbell rings*


Michy- Go get the door


Me- Its your house


Michy- *laughs* Girl go


Me- Alright


     I went downstairs and looked through the peep hole. I ain't like those stupid people in scary movies that just open the door freely.  It was Prod I smiled dang he looked fine.


      Butterflies filled my stomach as I opened the door.


Me- Hey Prod what you doing here


Prod- Damn! Naomi


Me- Damn?


Prod- Red is my favorite color *bites bottom lip*


       Red? I looked down and realized something. I slammed the door in Prod's face and ran up the stairs. I heard him laughing through the door. I bumped into Michy on my way running up.


Michy- What's wrong with you girl?


Me- Prod was at the door and he saw me like this


Michy- *laughs*


Me- Not funny


Mariah- Yasss it is


Me- Ugh! Whatever


     I went to Michy's room to get my clothes for school. Isn't this just the best way to start the day. What is Prod gonna think? Oh lawd!


Mariah POV


       I walked into the living room and spotted my suitcase on the floor. I pulled it out and got out my clothes. So it turns out I went home and got my stuff. Through the whole time I was there my dad and sister even my mom they were throwing curse words at me. But I just ignored it and kept on moving. I'm so glad Michy let me stay with her.


Michy- Mariah, Naiomi hurry up I gotta see my boo Roc


Naomi- Damn! Michy so thirsty


Me- *laughs*


Michy- Shut up at least I got a man


     Once she said that I looked down at me feet. Michy walked over to me and put her arm around me.


Michy- I'm sorry Mars I didn't mean it like that


     I lifted up my head.


Mariah- Its alright bestie.


*10 Minutes Later*


Michy- Come on Naomi he probably forgot


Naomi- No he didn't


Me- Girl get over it he was gonna see some skins anyways


Michy- *laughs* Hey its the truth


Naomi- I hate you guys


Michy&Me- Love you too


      Michy and I finally got Naomi to come outside and Prod was sitting on the porch playing Temple Run 2 on his phone. He looked up and smiled hella wide at Naomi.


Naomi POV

    Gosh... I'm so embarrassed.


Prod- Hey Naomi


Me- *mumbles* Hi


    I saw as Mariah and Michy left me alone with Prod yet again.


Prod- So you was rockin---


      I didn't even give Prod a chance to finish his sentence. I pressed my lips against his. At first he was tense, then he loosened up and kissed me back. I pulled back and smiled.


Me- Now what were you gonna say


Prod- Nothing *smiles wide*


Me- Alright come on


     Prod held my hand as we walked off the porch.


Mariah POV

     Michy and I were walking to school and I looked behind me and saw Naomi and Prod holding hands and talking as if they were the only two people in the world. That used to be Ray and I. I smiled sadly we really did have a good thing even though it was short.


Michy- Girl what you over there thinking about


Me- Nothing girl, nothing


     We made it up to school and people did a double take on me. By the way I was wearing camo cargo shorts, a black v neck, and some jordans , and my hair was in a sloppy bun at the top of my head. I gotta admit I did look good.


Star- Look at you stuntin Mariah


Me- Huh? You talking to me


Star- Yeah, silly!!


Me- Uhh... I gotta go

What's gotten into Star?

     I walked off to my locker leaving Star there with Michy. An announcement came on.


Principal- All students report to the auditorium for a emergency assembly.


     I made my way to the auditorium and looked at the stage.


       The stage in the auditorium was decorated with bright neon lights and a chair stood alone in the middle of it. Ray appeared on stage with a mic in hand. I stood there in awe... he looked so perfect. His braids were braided neatly, his----



     Before I knew  it Ray was pouring his heart out to me. Naomi pushed me up on stage I playfully rolled my eyes at her and sat in the chair. Everyone's eyes were on us even Star and Alissa. Ray smiled at me and began to sing If It Isn't Love by New Edition.


Ray-

I don't love her
I tried to tell myself
