Before I got home there was a war ghoulies vs serpents. Toni ended up killing darlas son she was aiming her blade to wound darla but her son jumped in the way and it was fatale.
It beats Toni up still. Sweet pea told me.
Reggie's dad is now sick they have made amends recently so it hurt Reg.
Me and sweet pea have start to renovate the garage into offices for us.
"That should do it now we just need to fill it with our desks and office things" he says I smile and he kisses me
"I will order the things" I say
"I hate that you make more than me" he says and leans down and kisses me
"Most of it is my savings I used some to buy pops in highschool and ever since I haven't touched it so I'm happy to spend it on our home" I say and kiss him
The next day I go to the fbi office and check out a file and pictures about a case me and Betty were on while she went and spoke to Toni.
Toni came back and I changed into my serpent jacket so she could trust me.
"You fbi?" She asks me
"Yeah but I'm a serpent first but don't tell my boss I said that" I say smiling she smiles at me and Toni and I sit down.
"Lucinda I know you didn't drown your daughter" Toni says
"We know you loved her with all your heart" I say
"But you were the only one home when it happened who did this Sandra?" Toni asks
She sighs "it was.... La liorons" she says
We leave the room to speak to Betty
"La liorons?" Betty asks
"Fill is in on who this is Toni" I ask
"Yeah who or what is la liorona" Betty says
"According to the old folk tales it's a Spirit of vengeance who prey on young children she drowns them" Toni says
"Ok Toni I appreciate your help and I wanna give Lucinda the benefit of doubt but I can't put Spirit of vengeance on my report" Betty says
"I'll keep looking into it though try to find something that doesn't connect her to this, I will try my best cuz I know her she doesn't have a mean bone in her body" I say
That night I stay late at the office trying to see if I can find anything that doesn't connect her to this.
I note 'someone impersonating a folklore'
I get home late to sweets who fell asleep on the couch I went and kissed his head and he woke up
"Hey" he says
"Hey baby come on let's go to bed sorry I had to stay late last night" I say
We go to bed and the next day I go back to the office.
My half sister calls me and I take a break to talk to her. We stopped hating each other and started to actually become sisters.
When I came back Betty was on the phone
I wrote on a pad 'who is it' and she took it and wrote back 'Toni'
"Ok Toni that's enough ok I'm sorry but your friend is going to be charged with murder" Betty says
That night I say a prayer before bed so the vengeful spirit leaves my child alone.
I wake up early because I have an appointment and after it everything was fine with my baby still.
We had most of our house set up the way we wanted it.
The next day
Betty and I are gonna help our serpent friend.
Betty and Toni both believed the spirit was here. And honestly I had a bad feeling. I needed to protect my child.
"Toni we found something a pattern retracing her steps" Betty says
"so she's following a direct line from Sweetwater river first thornhill where Cheryl encountered her" I say
"Then Lucinda's my house Rivervale high now" Betty says
"This apartment" fangs says
"Where she came after Baby Anthony her target was and I bet still is baby Anthony" Toni says
"We'll how do you know?" Fangs asks
"Mother's intuition I guess and Avery Adrian isn't safe either" Toni says
Sweet pea was with us "then we protect Anthony and my baby" sweets says
"Fangs take baby Anthony to the whyte wyrm sweet pea take Avery. I know you wanna help Avery but" Toni starts
"My child comes first I'll go" I say
"We surround you three with serpents" sweets says
"Good thinking I don't think she'll go after them with a crowd around" Toni says
"Ok, and where are you going?" Fangs asks
"Cheryls we need to contact that ghost bitch and she's the only person I know who knows how to channel the spirits" Toni says
She kisses Anthony
Sweet pea and I get on his bike and fangs follows on his.
We get to the wyrm and we get surrounded by serpents. Fangs gets me a decaf coffee as we wait.
I felt useless not being able to do anything.
It was quick. She showed up we tried to fight her off but I woke up to sweet pea shielding me with his body. I pushed him off
"Sweet pea" I say and Toni and Betty rush in.
"Sweets" I say and smacked his face I leaned down and his heart was beating. He started groaning we were soaked in water
"Oh my god" Betty says
"Fangs Anthony" Toni yelled
"Toni she came and I just woke up I don't remember anything" I say to her pulling sweet pea in my lap.
"Fangs where's Anthony" Toni says kneeling by him
"She-she took him" fangs says
"Where where did she take him?" Toni asks
"Sweet water" fangs says
"Toni go I got them" I say
"We need to beat them to the river" Toni says to Betty and they rush out
Sweet pea and fangs were ok. We all almost died
We checked everyone else to see who was alive and see who she killed.
Betty came back Toni didn't. She sacrificed herself for Anthony.
