Ben button jumped out of his hospital window.

I have a feeling it's just the beginning of whatever is happening here.

I sat with v checking our bills.

"We're in trouble here b we're up to our eyebrows in bills pops is hemorrhaging money" v says
"We're broke" I groan
"Well how far along is the speakeasy, is it close at least?" Betty asks us

She doesn't say anything

"V what what is it" Betty asks her

"The speakEasys ready it had been for awhile now" v says
"What why haven't you opened it?" Betty asks
"I told her we should but she kept wanting to wait" I say
"I've been waiting for Archie, I just i wanted him to be there dancing with me on opening night. A part of it all" v says

"This is exactly what Archie didn't want for you to just put your life on hold you need to focus on yourself for a change I'm saying this to you as your friend open the damn speakeasy" Betty says

"We will still work on getting Archie out of course but we need the money v" I say

After school the next day I was downstairs in the speakeasy when Josie and kev came down.

I was with v and Reggie

"Oh my god" kev says "I died and went to kander and ebb heaven" he adds

"Does that mean you like it?" I ask chuckling

"Welcome to La Bonne Nuit" v says

We all sat down "I've hired some of the serpents from the whyte wyrm to serve drinks" I tell them

"Mock tails only la bonne nuit is not in the business of corrupting minors" v adds

"Not yet" Reg says and i high five him

"Josie we need start power, we would love for you to be our resident chanteuse" v asks her

"Are you for real?" Josie asks us

"Mmhm" we reply

"I have been working like woe trying to find my sound now that I'm solo, and I haven't had anywhere to test it out" Josie says

"If you say yes our stage is your stage" I say

"Ooo this is the perfect opportunity" she squeals and me and v chuckle

"And Kevin we'd love for you to be our emcee" I ask him

"As long as I can sing every now and then" he asks

"Well of course" I say

"Or as we like to say at la bonne nuit mais oui" v says then the phone rings Reggie answers it

"Hey pop what's up?" He says and then gives us a weird look

I went upstairs "penny Peabody I don't believe we've had the pleasure" v says

"Oh we have" I say

"Now what the hell do you want?" V asks

"No no no no it's not what I want. It's what you two want protection the ghoulies are offering their services for a modest price" penny says I walk up

"Ghoulies aren't welcomed here, the fact you come to my business and say this after almost killing me" I laugh I pull my shirt to show my tattoo "this is my protection if I wanted it they will be here" I growl

"Let me guess protection from you, right?" V asks

"It's a nice place you've got here and as above so below I'm guessing? Maybe even nicer down there in the speakeasy. I'd hate for something bad to happen to it food for thought" penny says
