"Babe I think your gift is here" I hear my boyfriend call out to me I walked out of the room and went up to him.
"I said don't get me anything Anthony" I say
"I know but you look so beautiful and you needed more diamonds" he says I open up the box and it was a snake necklace with diamonds in it
"Take it back" I say handing it back to him
"What are you talking about? I thought you would like it your worship that other snake necklace and I have no idea why" he says
"This necklace will be the only snake necklace I ever wear Anthony, respect that" I say and walk away

I put the snake necklace on the sweet pea got me.
I haven't worn it in forever.

I now worked with the fbi after graduating from Yale

My sister called me and asked me if I'd been home in awhile. I said no but I knew That it was time.

I sighed and told her I would.

I packed my bag and so did Anthony.

We got on a plane and left I rented a place there.

"I can't wait to see your home town and your family and your friends" Anthony tells me

But honestly truth be told I just wanted to see him. I touched the snake necklace on my neck and smiled.

"Did I ever tell you I'm in a gang?" I ask Anthony

"No why didn't you ever bring this up?" He asks me
I got into my bag and pulled out my serpent jacket.

I put it on at the airport and it still fit like a glove

"That's where my tattoo is from a gang the serpents. They are my family Anthony and I can't wait til you meet them" I say and kiss him cheek

I get there at night I walked into pops

I go downstairs and see Archie stand in there

I look over and see Toni singing and dancing and there he was sweet pea. He looked over at me and I saw his smile grew which made mine. That's when I felt Anthony's arm around me and pull me closer. And I saw that sweets seen that. His smile quickly fell.

I walked over to Archie "Avery" he says and he hugs me "look at you army boy" I say giggling over the music I introduce Anthony to him.

I watch Toni sing and dance. Fangs was there with her as well.

I cheered my old friends on.

Toni looked over and smiled at us

"Damn Toni Avery it's good to see you two" Archie says

"Yeah you guys too" Toni says

"Toni I hate to do this but do you mind if I" I start asking

"Go talk to him" she says I stand up and I tell Anthony I'll be right back

I walk up to fangs and sweet pea

"Wow I can't believe my eyes how is it you two got even more handsome?" I ask and they both smile
"Avery" fangs says and hugs me
"You look good with facial hair and long hair fangs" I say pulling away

"Look at you your so beautiful" fangs says and I laugh
"The jacket fits still" sweets says to me "imma grab a drink I'll leave you guys" fangs says and walks away
"I thought it was only fitting to wear it after coming back here" I say
"You still wear it" he says and picks up to snake necklace
"Yeah, have you met anyone?" I ask him
"No I haven't what about you?" He asks and if on cue Anthony wraps his arm around me
"Hey babe who's this" Anthony asks
"This is sweet pea we go way back" I say
"What are you guys talking about?" He asks
"Her necklace" sweet pea says
"Yeah she worships the thing. I tried getting her a necklace just like it but with diamonds in it and she almost ripped my head off" Anthony jokes
"Imma catch up with my friends who do you go back to our place and get some rest I will introduce you to everyone tomorrow" I say and he looks at sweet pea
