"i want you to meet ashton," calum said to her.
"why?" she takes a bite of her bagel.
"he knows his killer now. i think it's sort of mandatory for you to meet him."
"alright, i don't mind. go get him." she finishes her bagel, and gets up.
"ashton, you don't need to hide anymore. come out."
and in thin air, ashton appears from his dark shadows.
"i'm pleased to meet you, i'm ella," ella smiles kindly.
"ashton," he nods back.
"tell her what you told me about jason."
"he killed me. that's it."
"ashton-" calum warns before ashton roll my eyes, he cuts him off.
"jason hemmings, luke hemmings' brother, he killed me. he was sleep walking, and he had a knife and he stabbed me. jason and i were friends back in my old town, but he came back here after that night to live with his brother. he thinks it's a dream, and he convinces himself it is, but he knows he's just telling himself that. he knows he killed me. he knows he ruined me."
"i-i'm so sorry, ashton."
"i don't want you to kill him," he says. "killing people isn't right." and then he disappears, vanishes in thin air.
"i'm sorry about him," calum says.
"for what? there's nothing to be sorry for," ella smiles resuuarly at him.
"i'm sorry about me, then," he takes a step closer to ella.
"for what?" she whispers just so calum can hear.
"this," he crashes his lips onto ella's.
