and just one question do you think injuries are good?(not the gory part but the atmosphere) sorry for not writing for a month I had work experience and a lot to do

adams POV

coach was giving us a speech before practice

"okay guys the first game of the championships is tomorow and this is our last practice so we need to work hard on defence......."

i zoned out and looked around , everyone was sitting on the ice listening to coach

megan and charlie were poking eachother and connie and guy were holding hands while averman and fulton were stuffing their fists in their mouths trying not to laugh.

"...........adam naomi and charlie on puck skills with goldberg in goal , fulton and megan on defence ...and take it easy no blood stains or teeth on the ice today.."a laugh rippled through the ducks and megan and fulton high-fived each other "...and connie, guy, jessie and averman can take laps okay lets go........oh wait a moment the first game for us is against the red bears they are quite an easy team to beat although their defence is pretty strong so meg and fulton you just have to watch it out there tomorow okay lets go!"me said clapping his hands together

Thank god i diddent have to go up against the hawks just yet

I stood up and picked up my stick

Then i looked over to naomi to see that she was struggling to get up

I went over and offered my hand she smiled up at me and took it

I helped her up

"Thanks adam i still havent got used to these new skates!"she said

"Thats alright ....um we should probably start practice "i said and we skated over to gouldberg who was putting on his helmet by the goal

"They gouldberg "said naomi

"Hey naomi ,adam please go easy on me not to hard please " said goulberg

I shook my head and laughed putting my hand on his shoulder

" gouldberg my friend you are the goalie taking a puck or two in the stomach now and them is what you do! "I said while taking naomis hand and skating over to a big pile of pucks

Charlie skated up to us "and gouldberg you do have the extra padding! "Charlie said and doged gouldbergs stick as he tried to hit him

"Heyyy !!! This isn't fat this is power!!"he said while banging his chest and wacking his stick on the ice

We laughed and i took my first shot

*near end of practice *

I was watching naomi shoot and i heard a noise behind me and i turned to see that megan and fulton were doing belly slides on the ice i laughed and everyone joined them.

Adams POV

I took a deep breath and closed my eyes

championships

if we win this game we are into the championships

"Adam we have arrived "

I opened my eyes and exhaled

"are you okay Adam? "asked my mum
