Adams POV

Saturday morning

Beep beep be...

I reached out and turned of my alarm clock and saw the time was 8 o'clock

I groaned and turned over into a warm place in my duvet

"Adam get up your going to be late " mum called

"yeah I'll be down in a minute "

I called down

I got out of bed and went to my wadrobe i pulled out a white t shirt,black jeans and a navy jumper i had a quick shower and put them on.

I was just drying my hair when i got a text

I looked at my phone

From charlie: hey cake eater meet us at the lake in 10 plz

I chuckled and sent a reply back

From adam:il be there soon ....spazway

Charlie: rich boy

Adam:coaches pet :)

Charlie:ok see you soon

I luaghed and put my phone into my back pocket

Me and charlie are best mates we literally did this every morning it was like a routine.

I grabbed my hockey gear and stick and walked downstairs

"Morning, im going out bye "i shouted as i opened the front door

"Adam wait were are you going" my dad shouted from the kitchen

"To play with ....the ..ducks " i stammered

My dad came out into the hall

"Now adam you know i do not approve of those kids they are too rough!!!"he said with a disappointed look

"Their my freinds how could you say that !!!"i was beging to get angry

"Dont shout at me son!!!"he shouted

"This happens every time why cant you just leave me alone to have a little fun for once!!!!!!"i shouted and stormed out of the house

I took deep breaths as i walked down the road in the snow

Being on the ice allways calmed me down

I took my phone out and popped my earphones into my ears and atarted playing some music

I walked for a bit longer and the heard someone shout my name behind me

I knew who it was

I smiled as i tok my earphones out and turned around

It was megan one of my best freinds she had a colourful las Vegas t shirt on and black jeggings with a leather jaket with faded roses on the sleeves and on her feet she had blue lepord skin roller skates with pink weels.

"Hey banks "she said

"Hey megs "i said

Then i thought about my dad and my smlie faded

"Whats up ?"she said skating beside me

"I had a fight with my dad about you lot he said that you were too rough and i shouldent play with you"i mumbled stuffing my hands into my pockets and kicking a stone across the path.

"Hey who cares what he says "megan said

I look up she is smilimg

"Comeon then you jellyfish lets go play some hockey!!!!

I luagh "ok then lets go "
