Third Person P.O.V
The familiar sight of the crowded station brought a sense of warmness to her chest. It was now her fifth year, she was going to be sixteen soon and was excited to see her friend. Pandora. Again, even if she was with her mother constantly during the summer, she missed her friend
During the other four years, Delphina hadn't made any more friends but she was fine with that. She was grateful she had one friend, with her first thought back in the first year is she would be all alone till graduation
She was alone this time around at the platform, her mother had to open the restaurant early this morning so Delphina received her embarrassing kisses and hugs at home where no one could judge. She walked past the families and headed straight to her compartment pushing her trunk up she sat down and let out an inaudible sigh which she didn't know was very loud
She pulled out a book from her trunk and started to read contently, she didn't know how long she was reading the words when Pandora came in sat next to her and started to read over Delphina's shoulder waiting for her to notice
The brunette had started to feel hot breaths on the back of her neck, she whipped her head around and saw Pandora laughing. She quickly pulled her into a hug with a little sway, they pulled away and Pandora quickly signed
"I missed you so much, Dee!" Delphina rolled her eyes
"You so didn't, you were having fun with Xenophilius Lovegood" Delphina signed making the blonde blush dark red shaking her head in denial
"I don't know what you're talking about, we're just friends" After she finished her hand movements, she covered her face
"With benefits" The brunette added cheekily as she silently laughed as Pandora became more annoyed
For the rest of the train ride the two girls catch up and tell each other about their summers, and the books they have read fan Girling over the fictional boys from the pages
The train came to a stop in the late afternoon all the students filtered out. The two girls hopped into a carriage waiting to move toward the castle, but Pandora's head turned, and a small smile appeared on her face. Delphina turned confused but upon seeing the cooky blonde boy she only shook her head
Xenophilius rushed to the carriage sitting next to the blonde heaving, she let out a little giggle. He signed a '"hi" to Delphina something Pandora taught him over the summer. Delphina gave him a little wave before admiring the beautiful castle
The three made it to the castle piling in and sitting at their house table, Pandora and Xenophilus on one side and Delphina on the other. They sat through the boring sorting ceremony getting 7 new Ravenclaws, and then Dumbledore's speech before the food finally appeared. Everyone immediately dug in as Delphina sat contently eating the food, she got for herself. She tends to not talk to Pandora during mealtimes because of the sign language, she didn't want to draw attention to herself, and she didn't like a million eyes on her

She headed back to her common room since her blonde friend had prefect duties thank God she didn't. She walked with no rush or urgency as she waited for everyone else to go first so she could be by herself with her thoughts which she was desperate to do all-day
Until she fell to the cold ground, Delphina looked up to see who would be out here at this time maybe it was a prefect? She could only make his tall silhouette and hand held out towards her the girl grabbed his hand and was filled with a warm sensation his palms were so warm and soft. The mysterious boy lifted her off the icy floor they had turned into the light and Delphina identified him as Remus Lupin
"I'm so sorry I was caught up with my thoughts" She managed to make out in the dim lighting from his lips. His hair was a bit all over the place with evident scars littered over his face. Delphina didn't want to be rude and just walked away but she was really tired and didn't want to try and communicate with the boy
While she was thinking he was rambling his lips moving vigorously she quickly grabbed his arms and brought them down stopping him and his one-sided conversation. She made sure he was looking at her before she mouthed a "Thank you" with a small smile and a simple nod she started to head back with only one thought. Her bed. And left the awkward boy in a state of curiosity and confusion under the present moonlight
