Third Person P.O.V

Two teens ran on the icy London streets rushing to the bus station, their smiles hitting the harsh breeze. The girl ran faster dragging along the laughter-filled boy as she saw the bus was about to depart. At the last minute the duo hopped on just before the door closed, all the seated passengers looked inquisitively at the out-of-breath teenagers

A small peppermint pink blush paints their cheeks as they find an empty spot to sit at. The vehicle starts to move and sets out to its destination, Delphina lets out a muted yawn as they both woke up in the early morning to set out to the desired place they shared. She rested her head on Remus's shoulder and closed her eyes for a moment

Sighing in contentment, in this movement she felt loved and at peace on her way to a place she had always wanted to go with her favourite person. Although she wouldn't confess that to her blonde-haired friend. Remus gazed out at the passing scenery as Delphie resided her head on his shoulder

The trip was sombre every step closer to the store more people stepped off the bus. When it was time for the couple to step, only a few people lingered in the vehicle. They made it onto the path Delphina let out a breath seeing it extra visible

The heart of London

Remus quickly tugged her hand towards their destination only halting when one spotted something bizarre. Finally made to the large oak doors the framed glass gives them a glimpse into their land of wonder and fantasy

The London Book Store

The door opened with a creak, and they stepped onto the worn wood, a warmth spread through the teens as the golden lights hit the layers of their faces. Knowledge and literature flooded out of the fresh pages and filled the air with a sense of comfort

Delphina took a step forward observing in wonder she looked to her companion a signed

"This is better than I ever imagined" Her hands wandered down to the display of books, she desired to touch every cover and every page that was filling the store on every floor of the sizeable building even if it took her until late dawn

Remus gaped at her and her features, a parted mouth moulded into a smile and her eyes filled with something the boy couldn't understand. A different sense of warmth filled him one of love and sensation he marvelled at these swirling wind of butterflies in his stomach and the peppermint pink blush rose to his cheeks

And for the rest of the day, the two nerdy teenagers explored the various literature. Hiding behind bookshelves and scaring each other, suggesting books and ending up with a pile taller than Delphie's head

"I couldn't read that many books in a year if I wanted to" Remus signed to her as the cashier scanned the tower of books she had picked out of the bookcases

"They're not all for me" She replied brushing the loose hairs out of her eyes, she looked up to him and saw his raised brows silently questioning who?

"A friend" Was all she signed to him leaving him with more questions than answers

The bus drove with Delphina and Remus lightly resting as they felt the potholes beneath them on the old road. Their bag of books squished between their feet in the tight space, the lowering sun was blocked by the mountain they were driving by

Eventually, the vehicle made it to their stop, Remus hopped out, turning and holding his free hand out. Delphina silently giggled and grasped his hand helping her onto the old uneven concrete. They contently strolled back to the girl's home

It was already closed as it was nearing Christmas, and everyone just wanted to be with their family. She stood in the doorway of the restaurant, the smell of the food flooding out the doorway and into the boy's nose

They only stared at each other for a while with no signing or movement until his bravery took control. He signed to her with fast movements that she almost couldn't comprehend what he was trying to get across

"So, James has a New Year's party I was wondering if you wanted to come?" Remus waited anxiously for her answer, he clutched his bag of books with white knuckles

He still hadn't made up with any of the boys to say he was surprised to see an invite to the Potter's new year's party. Maybe James hadn't told his parents what happened and before he could talk to his mother about it, he found that she had already agreed to attend

"I'd love to" She smiled dropping her bag and pulling the boy in for a hug

The Lupin boy let out a sigh of relief as he hugged her tightly. At least he knew that if it was too awkward with the boys he could spend his night with Delphina. He took a big breathtaking in her shampoo that smelt of

Gingerbread

He didn't think he had met anyone more Christmas spirit than the girl he was holding. As they pulled apart something dropped onto the quiet girl, soon came a sprinkling of snowflakes descending down in one's good time

"You better get home before it gets too cold" Delphie pushed him along as his nose became visibly red, she didn't want him to catch a cold

"Bye Delphie" He signed

"Bye Remus"

He turned away from the girl and headed towards his warm home thinking of all the possibilities that could happen at the New Year's party

Maybe even a New Year's Kiss?
