Chapter 8: The Melody of the Ocean part 1

Sora, Donald, Goofy, Chip, and Dale all sighed in relief as no overpowered Heartless Ship showed up this time to ambush them into a random world. Instead, they were now back in Traverse Town with Leon and Sid waiting for them. With Sid being their Chip and Dale left the ship as well, they hitched a ride on Sora's shoulder. 

"Hey, Rats! How did the missiles work?"

"I really wished you would stop calling us that."

"And yes, they worked greatly, the new Heartless ships were taken out in the blink of an eye!"

"Haha! Those Dark Army Bastards can try all they want but my upgrades will always be one step ahead!"

"Heh, anyways how's your guy's progress?" 

"We didn't do it alone, but one of the Lord of Darkness is gone!"

"Two actually, remember Sora, Oogie told us that Jafar was a Lord of Darkness as well." 

"Well, I'll be! You kids managed to take down Two Lords of Darkness! Even if you didn't do it alone, its still amazing!" Sora scratched the back of his head in embarrassment but still feeling proud of himself for liberating another world, defeating more members of the Dark Army and getting more Ansem reports. However, that's when Sora realized it, he never actually got any Ansem reports from Halloween Town. Sora couldn't help but put his hands on his head in frustration.

"Hm? What's wrong Sora?"

"We never got any Ansem reports from Halloween Town!"

"Oh, don't worry Sora, remember we went looking all around Halloween Town. Not once did either me or Goofy find any Ansem reports. Besides, there are an infinite number of worlds in the multiverse, it's not like every world we go too, will have them."

"Uh, Sora, you got a present in your hand." Sora looked at Goofy confused but then looked at his hand and sure enough, he was indeed holding a present. Sora held it in front of him and saw there was a note on it stating, I think any child that saves both the multiverse and uses their wish to help a friend form another world celebrate a snowy Christmas deserves to be on the nice list. Sora couldn't help but smile in excitement and quickly open the present only to find several papers of Ansem reports. 

"Haha! Thank you, Santa!" Sora then ran into Traverse Town to find Merlin leaving Goofy, Donald, Leon, Sid, Chip, and Dale confused.

"Dang, has that kid always been that fast?"

"He's been getting faster and stronger every time he locks a world away from the darkness. I wonder what it means."

"Hey if he can keep smacking down the Dark Amy then what's the issue? After all Duck, if you got something good in life then why question it?"

"I'm not complaining, I'm just worried, all energy comes from something else, but where is Sora getting his strength from?"

Sora joyfully ran to the alleyway, down the stairs, and into Merlin's house. Sora accidently barged in causing Merlin to drop his watering pot he was using to water his plants. 

"Oh! My boy I'm glad to see you but please mind your speed, you could hurt a horse running that fast!"

"Oh, Sorry Merlin."

"It's quite alright, my boy. Honestly, I'm more jealous rather than disappointed. I miss the days I was as young and energetic as you. Oh, the joys of youth."

"I think being old can be cool too."

"Really? How so my boy?"
