Initiation

"Y/N?! Camilo?!" Papa asked.

I looked over to see Papa standing in the doorway.

"Oh shit" I whispered.

Camilos eyes went wide as he turned over.

"I-..... you-....... you 2 are dating?" Papa asked.

Me and Camilo both sat up as fast as we could.

"I- uhhhhh...... ummmm" I stammered.
"Y- yeah?"
"Are you mad?"

"Why would I be mad? I- Im just.... suprised" Papa said.
"...... Well..... i'll uhhh i'll let you 2...... uhhhh I dont know...... see you later..... I guess"

Papa closed the door and went back to the living room.

"Soooo..... my dad knows......" I said.

"Yeah I could..... see that" Camilo said.

"That wasnt the way I thought he'd find out" I said.
"Eh it doesnt really matter, less to worry about"

"Yeah" Camilo said.

"You ok?" I asked.

"Yeah im fine, i just...... wasnt expecting him to find out...... like that.... anyways" Camilo said.

"Me neither" I said.
"Well...... he knows so...... might as well..... talk to him?"

"Sure" Camilo said.

Me and Camilo walked out to the living room and saw Papa and Vanessa on the couch, I assume Mama went out already.

"Hey Papa" I said.

"Hey" Papa replied.

"Sooooo can Camilo...... maybe hang out with all of us today? Or something?" I asked.

"Of course! Anytime!" Papa said.

|Camilo's POV|

I sat down on the couch awkwardly next to Vanessa and Y/N went to the kitchen.

"Want some coffee Camilo?" Y/N asked.

"Yes mi amor" I said.

Just as I said that my eyes went wide and I tried my best to subtly hide my face from Hernando.

"So....... how long have you 2 been dating?" Hernando asked.

"A few months..... maybe like.... 5 months" I explained.

Hernando nodded his head.
"So who all knows?" He asked.

"Almost everyone in the village except Cecilia" I said.

"Even Vanessa?" Hernando asked.
"Vanessa?"

Vanessa was asleep.

"Huh? What? Whats goin on?" Vanessa asked.

"Did you know about Y/N and Camilo dating?" Hernando asked.

"Does he know?" Vanessa asked turning to me.

"Yeah" I chuckled.

"Yes! I knew I could keep a secret!" Vanessa said.

"So you did know" Hernando said.

"Yeah!" Vanessa said.

"She actually uhhhh..... she actually helped me ask him out" I mumbled.

"All I really did was laugh at you both" Vanessa said.
"I want cereal"

Vanessa got up and ran over to the kitchen.

"So....... you wanna hang out? I mean you know since..... your dating my son..... just wanted to...... get to know you better" Hernando said.
