Truth

"Dolores.... if you can hear me.... im ready" I whispered.

I went out to the living room and grabbed a glass of water before they came over, all of a sudden I heard a knock at the door.

"That was fast" I thought.

I went over and opened the door to see Vanessa and Antonio standing there.

"I said I would show Antonio my room today!" Vanessa said.

"Oh ok" I said.

I let Vanessa and Antonio in and waited outside for Dolores and Mirabel.

Tiny time skip

I saw Dolores and Mirabel walking up and I gave them both a hug.

"I thought you didnt like hugs?" Mirabel asked.

"I need it today" I said.

We walked into the house and stood in front of my parents.

"Can you... turn the tv off, please?" I asked.

"Sure, whats going on Y/N?" Papa asked as he turned off the tv.

"I uhh... I need to talk to you" I said.

"Whats up?" Mama asked.

"This is uhh.... really important" I whispered.

"What is it?" Papa asked.

"I uhh.... i-" I looked up at Mirabel and Dolores, the gave me a nod and I looked back at my parents.
"I..... im..... gay"

I looked down and although I couldnt see their faces I could feel then looking at me, tears began to form in my eyes before I felt mi papas arms around me, hugging me.

"I love you mi hijo" Papa whispered.

Mirabels and Dolores's face lit up and papa let go of me.

"Im so proud of you" Papa said.

Tears streamed down my face as mama ran up and hugged me as well.

"Thank you" I whispered.

"Whats going on?" Vanessa asked.

"Oh uhh" I said wiping my tears.
"Its nothing, go back to playing"

"Ok, are you alright?" Vanessa asked.

"Yeah... im fine" I said.

Vanessa went back to her room and Mirabel wrapped me in another hug.

"We're so proud of you" Mama said.

"You are so brave mi hijo" Papa said.

"Thank you" I said.

"Do you want to go for icecream?" Dolores asked.

I smiled and nodded my head slightly.

"I'll go get Vanessa and Antonio" I said.

I wiped the tears from my eyes, got Vanessa and Antonio and we all went for icecream, I was so relived by today, it felt so good to get that off my chest.

After we ate, Dolores, Antonio and Mirabel all went home, Me, Vanessa, Mama and Papa went home, they all gave me a hug and I went to bed.

The next day

I woke up and went into the living room, Mama had already left and Papa was on the couch.

"Buenos días padre" I said.

"Buenos días!" Papa said.

"Wheres Mama?" I asked.

"Shes with Bruno" Papa said.
