This is my warm up fic
Y/n is a 23 year old woman whose life hasn't always been the easiest to say the least and she certainly hasn't always been on the right side of the law. Weed, booze and women, that's what Y/n's life has consisted of for the past 5 years. She has quite the reputation in the drag racing community, bare in mind when someone has such a disregard for their own life its not difficult to gain. Y/n will do just about anything for the win, whether she gets injured or not she doesn't just do it for the money but for the adrenaline that's what reminds her she's still alive. Is this current career of hers legal not really, but this community has become her family and honestly her life. But hopefully this change will be for the better, when fury came across y/n and her powers in through a rather awkward situation, but that doesn't matter now because he's begrudgingly invited y/n to the avengers. He figured it was better to have her on his team and it be slightly awkward than have her causing havoc somewhere and become a problem.
