It's the most wonderful time of year
as we're celebrating our Savior's birth
feeling all cheerful and merry
knowing one of us is already with Him.
I bet you had the brightest smile
seeing Him waiting for you
arms and heart wide open
greeting you to your Heavenly home.
It's the most wonderful time of year
as we're decorating our tree for Him
feeling all joyful and festive
knowing one of us is in His glory.
I bet you fell on your knees
being blinding by His light
trembling at His touch
while meeting His loving gaze.
It's the most wonderful time of year
as we remember the blessing from Him
feeling all lucky and grateful
knowing one of us is having the biggest one.
I bet you couldn't fathom the beauty
of His Kingdom that you had to saw
the sorrow changed to joy
was born new through Him.
It's the most wonderful time of year
as we share the bits of His gospel
feeling all willing and kind
knowing one of us is under His wing.
I bet you had many questions for Him
barely unable to speak up
chest and hands burning
locking your eyes with His.
