"stay. please,"

y/n's pov

i heard the door unlock, and kai allowed himself in the house.

"hey, bub, how was training?" i asked, whilst he took off his shoes and coat.

"god, it was tiring. we had to do the beep test, then go straight into normal training afterward."

"christ, baby. i remember doing the beep test at school, and that was tiring alone. never mind added on training after. surprised you're still standing," i joked with him, earning a small laugh from the german.

"anyway, enough about me. how was your day, princess?" he beckoned me to a hug, and i accepted. "oh, i've missed you," i heard him whisper lightly, his arms wrapping around my waist, bringing me closer to him.

"my day was alright, best it could be given my boss. you know what my work's like,"

"bless you," kai pressed a kiss to my cheek, before sitting down on the sofa, with me in his arms.

we watched a few episodes of the highly coveted 'squid game', before making dinner.

after eating dinner and clearing up, we watched one more episode of the show, before i heard muffled snores from kai.

i pressed a kiss to his lips, and he woke up, unaware of what had happened.

"you fell asleep, bub. wanna go to bed?"

he nodded, putting his head on my shoulder. we got up and went to our bedroom. he got himself sorted and got under the covers. i sat by his side on the edge of the bed, pressing a kiss to his forehead.

"night, baby. get some good rest,"

i began getting up, but kai grabbed my hand, forcing me to turn around.

"stay. please," he whispered, attempting to pull me into him, whilst showing me his infamous puppy eyes. "i need you, y/n."

"how can i say no to that face? let me get myself sorted, and i'll come cuddle you, okay?"

i got myself ready for bed as soon as i could, and when i got into bed, a tired smile was on his face. he buried his head into my chest, and i wrapped an arm around his body and with my other hand i raked my fingers back and forth in his hair.

"i love you so much, y/n/n," he whispered, eyes fluttering shut.

"i love you more, kai. get some good sleep," i responded, knowing he was safe in my arms.
