"stop ignoring me, i'm really sorry. i hate it when we don't talk."

y/n's pov

"you're hanging out with them more than me, pedro! it's getting beyond a joke now!"

"baby,"

"i'm off on a walk to clear my mind. i can't even fucking think straight."

i got my coat and left the house, leaving pedro calling my name.

on the walk around the block, after meeting some fans who recognised me (socially distanced), i thought of a game plan, which would make him break.

give him the silent treatment.

i know, it's cliche, but it grinds his gears. he despises this more than losing or missing an open goal.

this always works, no matter what. so, i'll get my way.

once i got back home, i did some cleaning and general housework.

"y/n, come on, talk to me," pedro spoke up, probably seeing me alone with nothing on my mind.

i didn't even move to look at him.

"y/n?"

still nothing in response.

"princess? please, answer me, i'm sorry." he came over to my side.

i just walked away from him, focussing on a small object in the room.

"stop ignoring me, i'm really sorry. i hate it when we don't talk."

i looked back to him, his face looking defeated. i couldn't help but feel sorry for how i had treated him. he kinda deserved it, mid, but maybe i took it a bit too far.

it had been torture for me, as well. i wanted him to help me with some things, though that would have defeated the purpose of me ignoring him.

"i'm sorry too, babe." i went over to him and hugged him.

pedro accepted the hug, sighing in relief that this fiasco is now over.

"i promise you that i'll focus more on you, i see my teammates every day for hours on end. i only see you when i get home, and i need to see you more. i promise you, princess."

"thank you, baby. i'll try not to give you the silent treatment again, but i can't promise anything."

we laughed at my little joke.

"y/n, as part of my promise, do you want to watch a film or something?"
