I flew off towards the hills of South Field.

Now that Alpha Wilfred knew about me, I couldn't stick around.

The hills was the best place for me for the time being.

Landing on a tree (as usual), I felt pure exhaustion and simply wanted to sleep.

I decided to become a squirrel again as that form was smaller and I could find a hollow in this tree to sleep in, maybe fill it up with some dried grass or something.

My next part of the plan would take place in a few moments.

That's when I first saw them.

There were at least twenty of them, all running through the forest.

Their fur colors were all different, brown and white, jet black, sandy brown, pure white and so on.

They all seemed to glow as the evening sun hit their fur.

Wild Wolves.

They ran fast, racing through the snow.

That's right, snow.

I'd come so far up the mountain it was snowy.

Anyway, I watched these wolves head up to the cliffs and stare at the sunset.

A few lagged behind to watch out for predictors or hunters.

I took my chance and shifted into my normal form, once again feeling the relief of a human body.

Tip toeing over, I watched them all closely.

One of them, a smoky brown and white one, looked up and saw me. He began to whine and paw at the ground.

All at once, the entire pack turned and stared at me.

I waited for the pain as they attacked me and tore me apart limb by limb or something, but that didn't happen.

Instead, one wolf, pure white with blue eyes, came forward.

She sat down in front of me and held out her paw.

Feeling weirded out, I grabbed her paw and got that tingly feeling.

She just stared at me with her beautiful eyes as the feeling took over my body and the white rays began to shine.

I felt my body shifting into what I felt I was always supposed to be. A wolf.

The fur sprouted from my body, white and luminous.

I felt my face form into a wolf shape, complete with a snout and everything.

My teeth became sharp and able to tear apart almost anything.

My hands and feet became paws.

I let out a joyful howl.

Now you know my plan, or at least most of it.

Once I had my wolf form, I would go home.

That is why I came to South Field.

I knew there were wild wolves roaming the mountains.

Now I would go back to North Field Pack and play wolf.
