We have all seen those pictures on instagram and tumble of those girl a with the cutest nails! Which are not glittery nor metallic but, matte! Here is a simple DIY to get this trendy nail look.
What you'll need
-Nail polish
-Corn flour/starch
-Container
-Toothpick
1. Pour some of the nail polish into the container.
2. Sift the corn flour and gradually add some into the container with the nail polish. Make sure not to put too much!
3. Stir the mixture together for a good 2 minutes making sure there are no lumps or trace of corn flour. Until it is the consistency of normal nail polish.
4. Apply base coat to you nails and wait for it to dry.
5. Put on your new nail polish and wait for it try dry.
Other tips
*Dont add top coat to the varnish or it may add shine to it!
*Try this with long nails (I think this looks best this way).
*Try dark colours(they look hot matte in my opinion).
*You can try replacing the corn flour with baking powder (I don't recommend it though).
*Make sure to clean your nail polish brush with nail polish remover to clean of residue!
