Ahaan led Ishqi to his room, just a while ago his drunkenness wasn't letting him stand stable but seeing tears in Ishqi's eyes gave him all the strength he needed to stand up for her.
Ishqi was also pleasantly surprised at the way Ahaan stood for her in front of everyone, even though their hands were still tightly interlaced she couldn't convince herself to let go...not just yet.
He handed over Ishqi his key card from his pocket and she opened the door and made Ahaan lay down on the bed. She was about to leave when he held her arm- "Ruk jao na thodi der please" he said-
Ishqi: Lekin agar kissi ne dekh liya toh phir ek naya tamasha hoga aur-
Ahaan: Ku-kuch nahi hoga Ishqi, mein houn na aur now nobody is going to dare to taunt you- Please Ishqi I don't wanna be alone right now-
Ishqi: Alone hone ki baat hai toh mein Rhea se keh deti houn, woh aapki girlfriend hai..wohi aapke saath reh toh saab ki liye baithar hoga-
Ahaan: Nooooo...I don't want Rhea....I want YOU Ishqi....Tum samajti kyun nahi ho ke mujhe tumhare saath rehna accha lagta hai....In 6 mahino mein meine tumhe jitna dard diya hai ussne tum se zyada mujhe takleef di hai.....Tum meri life mein bohot important ho Ishqi....Please- please ek- ek aur chance de do.....
Ishqi lowered her gaze and stood still- He pulled her towards him and cupped her face.."Ishqi tum aapne dil se puccho, Kya Ahaan ek aur chance deserve nahi karta?"
Ishqi's heart was screaming "Ahaan I forgave you a long time ago" but her brain wasn't letting her voice that out, instead she said, "Ah-Ahaan kis cheez ka second chance? Kal ke baad hum pata nahi kab mile, Aapko mere se sorry maangne ki koi zaaroot nahi hai, waise bhi aapko kya farak parta hai ke mein aapko maaf karun yah nahi..."
Ahaan: FARAK PARTA HAI ISHQI....bohot farak parta hai-
"kyun" she said while choking back her tears-
"P-pata nahi kab aur kaise lekin mein- mein tumse py-" he fainted before he could finish his sentence.
Ishqi (in mind): Mein jaanti houn aap kya kehna chahate hai AVM but yeh saach sunne ki himmat nahi hai kissi mein aur na hi aap sober halat mein accept kareinge....Yeh saab toh aap issilye bol rahe hai cause you're drunk.....Aur pyaar mein trust bohot zaaroori hota hai...aur woh aap mujhpe nahi karte.....
"Apne aise kyun kiya Ahaan...agar aapne 6 mahino pehle mere pe thoda sa trust dikhaya hota toh aaj bohot kuch different hota....but past ko koi badal nahi sakta aur aab jald aapki shaadi hojaigi and phir yeh feelings/pyaar saab kuch kal ka kissa baan jaiga....but I promise Ahaan mein aapko kabhi nahi bhulo gi....I will always remember my AVM, naam teen banda mean...."
Ishqi heard soft whispers outside the room, to avoid any further drama she slowly let her hand out of his hold and left the room-
AFTER A FEW HOURS:
She couldn't help but feel worried for him, "Ishqi buss jaa ker ek dafa check hi toh karna hai....per tujhe kyun karna hai, unki girlfriend hai na- but jaab tak mein dekh nahi leti ke he's fine mujhe sakoon nahi milega....Waise bhi itni raat ko kisne dekhna hai mujhe?....Chali jati houn- "
She quietly scuttled to his room, the door was unlocked, she swung the door open and set foot inside his room. She saw his sleeping comfortably, before she could control herself she closed the door behind her and took small steps towards him.
She sat by him and held his hand, "AVM toh total out hai, agar mein aab apne dil ki saari baatein inn se bol doun toh inhone konsi sunni hai aur mere dil ka bojh bhi halka hojaiga....bol deti houn-"
She started speaking in a low tone, "Ahaan- thank you...aapne mere liye aaj stand liya- bhale hi aap nashe mein the but aapko meri fikar thi. Aaj ek accha din tha, but kal mein yahan se chali jaoungi- na chah ke bhi aapko avoid karungi because if I let my guards down I'll melt...mein aapni feelings ko aur control nahi kar paungi, Kartik ne mujhe bataya ke aapko lagah ke meine Mayank se shaadi aapki wajah se thodi, yeh wajah nahi thi Ahaan but...pyaar hai......Aab aap ko Mayank ka saach pata chal gaya hai and everyone is trying to move on....Mein aapki life mein ek problem nahi baana chahati...I want you to be happy aur agar aap Rhea ke saath move on kar rahe hai toh I'm happy for you Ahaan."
Tears emerged in Ishqi's eyes, "Bachpan se jisse bhi pyaar kiya hai usse khoya hai, ek aur insaan sahi...Mein buss itna kehna chati houn ke you'll always have a special place in my heart. Mere iss resort se jaane ke baad I don't know ke hum kab milenge issilye aaj mein yeh saab aapse keh rahi houn...Mein aapse gussa nahi houn, meine aapko bohot pehle hi maaf kardiya tha....I'll really miss you naam teen banda mean."
She started sobbing and put her head on his hand- "Oh how I wish ke mein aapko yeh tab keh pati jab aap mujhe sunn pate" , she sighed-
After a few moments Ishqi got up and placed a kiss on Ahaan's forehead, "Goodbye Ahaan" she whispered and left the room in silence.
...but little did she know Ahaan had heard everything 💫

He had been awake when Ishqi entered, he just acted like he was asleep because he wanted to hear what she wanted to say cuz he knew she'd never tell him when he was fully conscious.
He shot up from his bed, "Ishqi- I need to talk to Ishqi"
"Par abhi kaise kar sakta houn, abhi nahi ho payega, my head is spinning like crazy- lagta hai kuch zyada hi drink karli thi meine. Aaj meine jo bhi tamsha kiya hai woh toh subah hi pata chalega but right now my priority is to talk to Ishqi but it's 4am- subah I'll go talk to her kyunki kya pata iss ek conversation ke baad saab kuch badal jaiye....everything...
