Ishqi: HUH? AVM yeh aap kya keh rahe hai-

Ahaan: Yes, I have to do this for us Ishqi-

Kartik: Good Luck Bhai!

Ahaan firmly held Ishqi's hand and the trio approached their family- As soon as Dadi caught sight of Ishqaan she immediately shouted "Ahaan puttar yeh tu kya kar raha hai" while looking at their entwined hands in horror. 

Ahaan: Jo kar raha houn sahi kar raha houn Dadi- 

Mr. Mehta: Would you care to explain Ahaan? he said angrily 

Ahaan: Yes, actually I do have an explanation- 

He took a deep breath, "The moment Ishqi entered my life everything changed, The first time we met Ishqi got 2 elderly people married and "borrowed" my car & left me in the middle of the road, he giggled- Me and Ishqi had a different type of starting, from hating each other to always wanting to be close- we've come a long way. Mujhe khud nahi pata ke kaab mujhe Ishqi se pyaar hogaya, she has conquered a place in my heart that nobody else can, When Ishqi was getting married- my heart ached knowing she can never be mine but deep down I still didn't loose hope. Ishqi has made a permanent entry in my life and I can't live without her, I know I've taken way too long to come out of my denial but now that I've realized I have to confess and take a stand for my love, no matter what anybody says I am forever Ishqi's and today the engagement is going to happen but of Ahaan and Ishqi" he finished. 

All the guests were teary eyed and clapped for the couple, Dadi and the Mehta's were shook-

Sonu-Raj-Kartik went up to couple and hugged them.

Sonu-Kartik-Raj: Congrats bhaiyya and bhabhi!! they all said excitedly 

Dadi: Ahaan, tera dimaag kharaab hogaya-

Ahaan: Nahi Dadi, whatever I'm doing is right-

Dadi: Tu iss ladki ke liye mere khilaaf jaiga-

Ahaan: Gi Dadi kyuke yeh ladki mera pyaar hai aur mein Ishqi ke bina nahi reh sakta-

Dadi: Mein iss Ishqi ko aapni bahu kabhi nahi manungi aur na hi mein tujhe isse shaadi karne doungi-

Ahaan: Apke maane yeh na maane se kuch nahi hoga dadi, meine apni puri life mein aapki ek bhi baat nahi taali, aapke har sahi ya galat kaam mein aapka saath diya- jo aapne sikhaya woh aankh baand kar ke follow kiya but this time mein wohi karunga jo mujhe sahi laage- Meri aur Ishqi ki sagai aaj hi hogi- he declared 

Dadi knew she had lost and couldn't manipulate him anymore so she temporarily agreed, "Abhi ke liye haan bol deti houn aur Ahaan ke samne acchi ban jati houn per iss Ishqi ko mein aapne ghar ki bahu kabhi nahi baane doungi- she thought

Dadi: Theek hai Ahaan puttar, agar iss mein teri khushi hai toh mein iss sagai ke liye raazi houn-

Ahaan: Thank you Dadi!

Mr. Mehta: Ahaan tum meri beti ki life aise kharaab nahi kar sakte- 

Ahaan: Mein? mein aapki beti ki life khaarab kar raha houn, he said sarcastically 

Rhea: Ahaan- mein tumse bohot pyaar karti houn- tum aisa nahi kar sakte mere saath, she said while faking her tears 

Ahaan: Shut up Rhea- Aur yeh pyaar ka drama tum kisse aur ke samne jaa ke hi karna-

Rhea: Ahaan, yeh tum kya keh rahe ho I- 

Ahaan: Rhea- "Rahul" is waiting for you in the lobby-

The color from her face drained, that one name was enough to shut her up, she urged her parents to leave with her without creating any more problems. 

Kartik: Wah Bhai! Ek naam se Mehta's ki bolti baand, he chuckled 

Chachi: Chale aab saab jaldi se ajai, sagai ka time nikalta jaa raha hai-

Sonu and Kartik led the couple to the stage and they exchanged rings, the duo was full of happiness and joy. Finally, finally they were going to be each others, always and forever. ⚡️
