Ishk Par Zor Nahi ( ✔️)

CONTEXT: After Ahaan finds out Mayank's truth he's full of guilt. (In this story Ishqi doesn't get injured and instead of the hospital scene they have this talk)

A lone figure sat on a bench by the poolside reminiscing all the moments he'd spent with someone he had given so much misery. He was filled with guilt, sadness, and fear, the thought of loosing her pained his heart. 

Ahaan knew he didn't deserve her, still his heart longed to be close to Ishqi-

Kartik's words echoed in his mind, "Bhai, aap Rhea se pyaar nahi karte, aap ke mann mein kuch nahi horiya- aap ke mann mein Ishqi hai"- How?

How- how did Kartik know- Ahaan hadn't even let himself accept the fact that it was Ishqi whom he loved, he had always masked his feelings with anger and irritation but still Ishqi had sensed what was in his heart and in a drunken state confessed her emotions- she was right, then he didn't have the courage to confess what he felt- 

"Jo feelings mujhe hai na woh aapko bhi hai, par aap mein kehne hi himmat nahi hai"

"Aap bhi bol do na seedha seedha" 

Oh how he wished it was that simple, now he was slowly coming out of his denial. He realized the gem of a person Ishqi was. 

"She sacrificed her happiness for Sonu's sake, aur meine kya kiya- sirf usse nafrat- sirf usski problems ko increase kiya- Ahaan how could you do that to her" he thought remorsefully 

Just then Ishqi was passing by the poolside when her eyes fell on him, as much as she wanted to ignore him-she couldn't. Ahaan and Ishqi hadn't had a proper conversation since Mayank's revelation-

"Baarish wala mausam ho raha hai aur AVM yaha per bethay hai, inhe toh baarish bilkul pasand nahi hai" she thought

Ahaan was surely responsible for her current condition but she still didn't blame him because Kartik had told her that Ahaan was under the impression, Ishqi broke her alliance with Mayank due to him, she knew that his reaction was based on his traumatic childhood experience.

"Ishqi-bhai ko iss duniya mein dhoka dene wale logon se bohot nafrat hai, unki mom ki wajah se bhai ka poora bachpan kharab hogaya-Lekin Ishqi tumhe hurt karke bhai ka khud dil toot gaya hai, woh bikul emotionless hogaye hai- inn 6 mahino mein meine unko ek baar bhi khush nahi dekha" Kartik had previously informed her. 

She strolled towards the bench and sat beside him, even though his eyes were closed he sensed her presence. He turned to face her and immediately starting chanting apologies.  

Ahaan: Ishqi- I'm so sorry, mein janta houn meine tumhe bohot zyada hurt kiya hai, mein aapne aap se bohot sharminda hou-Meine khud ke guilt se bhar aane ke liye tumhe thod diya- I'm sorry-

He was about to leave before he broke down in front of her but she caught his arm, stood up and led him to the edge of the pool and motioned him to sit. He promptly put his feet in the water making Ishqi faintly smile. 

Both of them recalled their moments from that night, they felt a warm sensation in their hearts. After a few minutes of much needed peaceful silence between them Ishqi spoke in a broken but calm tone.

Ishqi: Ahaan-
