"No. No. No. Don't kill him. Kill me" A woman screamed.
"Run. Suhani, Run" A man shouted
"I can't leave you" The woman shouted back.
"Suhani You have to go" The man shouted.
They heard a siren. Police siren.
"Police are here" The woman said happily "We are safe. We are safe. We are, right?"
"Gotcha" They heard a creepy voice. Woman screamed.
"Nooo..." Suhani woke up from a nightmare.
"Suhani? Are you okay?" Sumedh, Her husband, ran towards her.
"I am okay. It was a nightmare" Suhani was panting.
"Fine. Here, drink some water" Sumedh gave her a glass.
She gulped it in one go. He sat beside her on bed.
"What time is it?" She asked
"It's 7:55 pm" Sumedh told.
"Kitne odd time pe so rahi thi main" She grabbed her hair.
"It's okay. You're just in time actually. Prime minister is coming live in thirty minutes" Sumedh said.
Suhani checked her phone. Date showed 24th March 2020.
"It's been a month. Uss baat ko" Suhani said.
"Suhani. We have to forget it" Sumedh said.
Suhani knew that she have to forget it but how could she?
"Such a horrifying day it was Sumedh" Suhani said.
Sumedh wrapped his arms around her and took her in his embrace.
They kept looking towards TV.
"What do you think will happen? Prime minister live aa rahe hai" Suhani asked.
"Corona virus hi wajah hai. Mujhe lagta hai 1975 hone wala hai. Emergency lagayenge kya?" Sumedh asked.
Suhani chuckled "I don't think so. Shayad jaisa Italy me chal raha hai waisa lockdown lagayenge"
"Us and us alone.. How romantic!" Sumedh exclaimed.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi started his address "Namashkar, Mere pyare desvasiyo, main aaj phir ek baar corona vaishvik mahamari ke bareme baat karne ke liye aapke bich aaya hoo"
"Vaishvik what?" Suhani made a face.
"Vishvik mahamari. Global Pandemic. Kaisi angrej ho yar" Sumedh translated it for her.
"Janata curfew ho gaya na? Mujhe laga tha 24 ghante me corona khatam ho jayega" Suhani laughed.
"Kitne dino baad hasi ho tum" Sumedh suddenly said.
Suhani smiled. They continued listening to PM address.
"Social distancing. Tumse toh nahi hoga yeh" Suhani taunted.
"Social distancing me tum nahi aati" Sumedh rubbed his nose against her's.
They were busy in each other when suddenly they heard PM's raised voice
"Aaj raat 12 baje se.. Pure desh me.. Dhyan se suniye.. Pure desh me.. Aaj raat 12 baje se.. Sampurn desh me.. Sampurn lockdown hone ja raha hai"
Suhani and Sumedh looked at each other in shock. "Yeh toh sach me ho gaya. Lockdown ho gaya" He panicked.
