It had been almost 2 years since Chanyeol and y/n divorced . Neither of them were over each other and it showed . Like a lot even their 2 children saw it . They'd ask for their parents to get back together but y/n was always kinda cautious . It's not that she and chanyeol had a bad relationship before .. she was just scared to lose him again .
They had a right person wrong time sort of thing . But that didn't stop the two from being friends and co - parenting .

I had just finished recording with baekhyun and sehun . "We've been recording all day , I'm so tired" baekhyun said as he flopped on the couch . I just shook my head and put on my jacket . Sehun walked back into the studio with waters for the three of us . "We can leave now because we're done now get up hyung" sehun said and handed baekhyun his water .
"Where you going?" Sehun asked as he handed me mine . "To my family , it's game night" I said and sehun nodded . "You two back together yet?" Baekhyun asked . "No- why're you asking that?" . "Well I mean it's pretty clear how much you guys still love each other so why won't you get back together?" He said and I sighed . "Hyung ive tried but she's still on the fence" I said and sehun spoke up .
"Why though ? , I thought you guys ended it on good terms" . "We did she says it's because she doesn't want to lose me again .. we had kind of a right person wrong time kinda thing" I said and they nodded . "It's just that I really love her so much , she's the love of my life and the mother of my children .. I really couldn't see myself with anyone else" I vented and sehun stood up . "Welp ! That's my cue , I don't do relationship talk" he said as he grabbed his phone and jacket .
"But you're the one who asked-" I started . "I was being nice , you guys have a good night and I'll see you tomorrow" he said as he made his way out of the studio . "I should go before it gets too late see ya hyung" I said . "Wait" baekhyun said . "Do you guys still .. yk?? .. do the thing?" He asked . "Wah- this man- why- why're you asking me THATTTT?" I stressed and baekhyun laughed . "That gave me my answer , anyways you can leave now your wife and kids are waiting" he said .
"She's not my- whatever bye hyung" I waved at him and walked out making my way home .

"I won uh huh I won uh huh" my daughter ikigai danced around in a circle . "Mom gai is teasing remember you said no teasing" my son elysian said . "Yes but I also said no telling unless something really bad is happening" ely groaned and I laughed . "I mean we can do a rematch" ikigai said while fanning the uno cards around . "Fine but wait til dad is here" ely said .
Right on cue he knocked on the door . "I'll get it" I said as I stood up . I went and opened the door revealing a smiley Chanyeol . "Hey stranger" he said as he pulled me into a hug . "I don't think you're supposed to hug strangers" . I said and he laughed . Ely and gai ran to the door . "Daddy!" They both called out as he hugged them .
Taking his scan over the house he noticed the games we played were all out already . "Started without me ?? , wow I'm hurt" Chanyeol said and I laughed while closing and locking the door . "Uno first because I need a rematch with gai" Elysian said as he handed cards to ikigai and Chanyeol .
20 minutes later
I could tell the kids were getting tired already . "I think it's bed time" I told chanyeol gesturing between our children . He nodded and picked up elysian and I helped gai stand on her feet . After walking them to bed and helping them fall asleep we both ended up back on the couch . "So .. how did recording go?" I asked and he laughed at my attempt to make small talk . "Y/n I know you are not trying to make small talk with me like we are new friends or something" chanyeol said . I laughed too because it was kinda pathetic .
After my laughing fit I noticed chanyeol staring at me . "What?" I asked . "I really miss you .. I miss waking up to you .. hugging and annoying you while cooking .. just being in your presence isn't enough .. I need you again .. more of needing to call you mine" he said and I felt that feeling . The one where your stomach gets all fluttery but your mind has a million thoughts .. your face feels hot and your toes get sweaty . Anticipation . "I know I've asked about a million times now .. but please .. I need you again ." He said as he held my hands in his .
There it is . That question again . Maybe I won't lose him this time .. I mean we were younger and childless the first time .. Deep thoughts ran all through my brain .. then one thing settled it . I love him and he loves me 10x more . "okay , but I think it's a little too late for taking it slow" . "HA I KNEW IT! TOLD YOU ELY" ikigai said from behind the couch . "You're so loud gai" Elysian said and chanyeol and I laughed . These children of ours .
