I sat on y/n's bed staring at the wall . She was currently showering so we could go on a best friends date in a few hours . Y/N and I have been best friends since we were born basically ,, our moms are besties also . But one thing that y/n doesn't know is that I have the biggest crush on her . I've had it since we were 8 and now here we are 21 years old and it's still there .
I've thought about telling her but the words never seem to come out the way I want them to . Plus y/n has been through a lot of hardships and heartbreaks so she's currently 'not catching feelings for anyone or looking for relationships' (me asf) and I see how she is now . Like it's not that she's cold hearted she's just not interested in anything that has to do with feelings , love or relationships . Seeing as thats what I want , I just keep my mouth shut now .
I feel like I should atleast tell her so she's aware but like I don't want it to end up awkward between us or me getting my heart broken and looking like a dumbass that falls in love with their childhood best friend . "Binnie!" I heard y/n screech from the bathroom. I ran over to the bathroom and saw her standing on the counter wrapped in a towel looking at the ground like she's seen a ghost . "Why are you scre-" she cut me off . "BITCH DONT YOU SEE THAT BIG ASS SPIDER" she yelled and I looked to where she was Pointing at spotting that smallest white spider ever .
"It's not even big and these are good-luck you can't kill it" I stated and she whined stomping her feet on the counter. "I don't give a flying fuck changbin it's still a spider and you know how I am about spiders . Now you either kill it or take it and put it out the window before I kill you" she said and I laughed while picking the spider up into my hands . She stared at me with wide eyes as I held the spider in my bare hands .
I got an idea . I walked closer to her cupping it in my hands pointing my hands towards her saying "look at the spider y/n isn't it cute" she screamed louder saying to get away from her or she was gonna kick me . After a while she actually started crying so I stopped messing with her and took the spider sitting it on the outside of her windowsill .
When I came back she was getting dressed and when she saw me she glared at me like she wanted to kill me . I laughed and she looked back at the mirror rolling her eyes . "Nigga I should kill you right now ,, but I won't because I can't go to jail and I'm black" she said and that made me laugh harder . I'm guessing she found my laugh funny because she started laughing with me . "I really cannot stand you" she said and I smiled softly while looking at her . "You know you love me" I muttered quietly but she heard . "Yeah , you're lucky cause you're the only man I love" she said and I felt my body heat up .
I know she didn't mean it in the way I'm thinking but she still said it . "So zip lining first? Because I'm not trynna eat and then be all bloated on the zip line" she said and I nodded before responding . "We can go zip lining first , uh remember the boys are coming with us to that though right" I said and she nodded . "Yeah I know , lee know (😏) texted me 1,000 times about it last night" she said and I choked on air .
"L-Lee know texted you? , you guys text?" I asked and she looked at me through the mirror . "Boy relax we talk like friends because we are friends and you know me . I'm not falling for anyone no time soon .. especially not Minho's mean ass" she said with her face scrunched up .
I let out a breath I didn't even know I was holding . "Well I'm ready now I just have to grab my purse and we can leave" y/n said and I finally took in her whole appearance . Damn . She had on black jeans with a red and white turtleneck shirt topped off with a black distressed denim jacket and some red black and white Jordan ones .
Simple fit , bad bitch . "Bestie you look damn good" I hyped and she posed as I kept throwing compliments to her "Thanks binnie" she said and she kissed my cheek . "I'm driving" I stated and she nodded .
Skip half the car ride
We were almost to the zip lining location . Y/n was playing juice wrld and just vibing while staring out the window . I decided to be bold and put my hand on her thigh while driving . She glanced down at my hand for a while as if she was thinking .. about a minute later she hesitantly placed her hand on top of mine holding it in hers .
We finally pulled into the parking garage of the zip line place . When we got out of the car we heard Felix call y/n's name and she turned around looking for him . When she spotted him she ran over to him and hugged him . Y/n was close with all the boys but Felix was closer with her more than the rest of them . I mean yeah I'm the BEST friend , but Felix is the best friend of you get me .
When they hugged I couldn't help but be a little jealous so I said "y/n come here with me" she looked at me but didn't question anything or hesitate .. she just came right over to me .. the only problem was she dragged Felix with her . I just rolled my eyes and kept going . We got into the place .. signed some safety papers and picked who was going with who since we get sent off in groups of 2 . (This part is referencing to that one episode of the fandom tour when they ziplined to namiseom Island)
The groups ended up being lee know and han , chan and I.N , Felix and y/n , hyunjin and me and seungmin by himself . Yes I was mad that y/n decided to go with Felix but whatever . It happened and I have to get over it . Her and Felix were about to set off and she looked back at me saying "사랑해" Y/n was fluent in korean but she was insecure of her pronunciation so she rarely spoke it , but she can both speak and understand it well .
My face started to heat up and Felix yelled "that was so cute" the person set them off and they both yelled out of excitement . I guess hyunjin saw how I was looking at y/n so he said "it's time to tell her man" and I sighed . I've tried but I really do not know how .. it never comes out right . I just want to be there for her . More than just a best friend I wanna be the one she wakes up to in the mornings , the one she holds on to and cries to because of cramps .. I just wanna be everything she needs . I wish she'd give me the opportunity to love her naked .
