5 years later

Melissa's P.O.V.

"Mommy! Jay isn't giving me my colour!" Skylar whined.

I shook my head. "Jason! Give your sister her colours back."

"Buut moom." Jason starts to whine.

"No buts." I say sternly.

"Auntie Melly!" A little voice yells.

I turn around and see Amanda running to me. I laugh and then she hugs my legs. Running behind her is Adam and Alexander. Alexander is Sophie's last child. She gave birth to him a year after Amanda and Skylar's birth. His name is Alexander Parker Smith.

My little babies are already five years old. Adam and Amanda are also five, whereas Alex is four. They have grown so much.

"Amandee!" Skylar yells and they hug each other.

"Essie!" Amanda yells, too.

Skylar's nickname for Amanda is Amandee and Amanda's nickname for Skylar is Essie. It's pretty cute. I never thought of those nicknames. They are mostly never apart. Both of the girls giggle and run away to go play.

"Hi, Ad and Al." Mason says to Adam and Alex.

"Hi! Mase and Jase." Adam says.

"Hey, Adda and Alex." Jason says.

"Hey! Jay and May." Alex says.

They all turn and walk away into the house. I meet halfway with Sophie and hug her.

"Hello, Soph. I've missed you." I said.

"Um, Mel. We saw each other this morning." Sophie says.

"Oh, yeah. Must've forgot that I saw medusa during the day..." I trail off and walk away from her slowly backwards, laughing.

I go inside the house and into the kitchen to get a bottle of water. I take a sip and feel someone tugging the hem of my shirt. I look down and see little Skylar trying to get my attention.

"What is it, Sky?" I ask.

"Amanda and I want to watch a movie. Could you help us?" She asks looking up at me with her innocent big blue eyes.

"Okay. I'll be there." I said.

She shook her head and grabbed my hand. "No, mummy. You're coming now."

She dragged me into the theatre room and then I put on Frozen for them.

We are all in the dinning table eating dinner. Adrian at the head, me beside him, Skylar, Jason, Mason, Daniel, Mark, Sophie, Adam and then Alex.

I looked around the table and saw all the smiles on everyone's faces. Everyone was laughing and talking about the latest things. I loved this view. I had a huge grin on my face and laughed at a joke Sophie made.

I love these times with my family. When we all get together and just start talking about the most random things. I've gotten a great best friend and an amazing husband.

I would've never expected my life to take a 360 degree turn and be so, so I don't know.. Perfect. It isn't actually perfect, but in my world it is.

In my eyes I see the best reason to be happy, my family. They will always be there for me and I know it. I am honestly grateful to have such an amazing family.

I love them all to bits and pieces.
