I was helping the others with the dance since Klaus left earlier. I walk out of the gym toward the water fountain and start it. I normally like my water cold so when I reached it I didn't expect it to burn the living hell out of me. I hiss flinging my finger away and waving it. "What the hell!" I growled glaring at the damn thing. I walk to the bathroom and motion my hand and slowly touch it. I groan as I get burn to. I take my phone out calling Elena figuring it's probably just the school's water. "Hey, Hayley." "Hey did that water have something in it?" "Yeah, actually I got burnt by it just a minute ago." "Seriously! I like my water!" I growled walking out of the bathroom. Agh seriously. Vervain! We talk for a while before hanging up. That night (yeah I'm skipping it!) Bonnie calls to tell me to pick her up. I vamp speed to her house and frown. "What is it?""Elena and Jeremy are trying to kill Kol. I don't want him to die Hayley. Help me please." I smile and grab her hand. "Just hold on." I vamp speed us thereafter making sure I had her and noticed Klaus standing at the door. Bonnie and I walk up as he walks inside. "How-" "I did," I told her and we both seen Kol's once alive body laying on the ground. "You killed my brother!" I snap my head up from Kol's body as Bonnie slowly makes her way to him and I knew she was about to cry. "Klaus stop it!" I yell before he tired going for my brother and sister. I tackled him and pinned his arms down. "Stop it!" I growl and he glares up at me. "You protect them over me." "They are my family Nik." I heard Bonnie start to cry and looked over. "LEAVE!" I growl to Elena and Jeremy who hesitate. "Elena if you do not leave while I have him down I won't be able to stop him from killing you. SO GO!" She grabs his hand and runs. Klaus threw me off and I land on the front door wall. "NO!" Bonnie somehow traps Klaus. I stare at her. "Bonnie are you okay?" She nods and stands up. "I'm going to help them find the cure." "When you get back, I want it. Bring it to me no one else." I tell her. "I won't. If I get it first. Hayley I'm going to figure out how to bring him back." "If it kills you don't do it," Klaus growls and I look over to him as Bonnie looks worried. "How long will this last for him?" "I would trap him in the whole house but if you're staying I prefer him to be right in here." "I'm staying." "Bury Kol for me." I nod smiling at her. "Bring back the cure." "I will." I watch her leave before turning to a still pissed-off Original Hybrid. "You're mad." "Pissed Sweetheart. I'm pissed. I'm going to murder your family I hope you know that." "And then you'll lose me."-Next day-I tapped my fingers watching Klaus pace back and forth. "You know I think that's payback for letting your little bitch Greta trap me in a box." "Different is I'm in your living room love." "Oh, so he does talk!" I state glaring at him. "You helped trapped me." "Oh come on! I didn't help anything! Bonnie did that herself and like she said she's going to figure out a way to get him back so yes I put Kol's dead body into the ground this morning because I told her I would." "You shouldn't have touched him." "I touched him because I was sick of watching you destroy yourself over not saving him!" "How can you sit there and do that?!" "Do what Klaus?" "Gloat that he's dead! Make me suffer even more!" "I'm not gloating! I watched my best friend AND my boyfriend cry yesterday! So I'm just stating the fact that we all lost someone we love." "Your preciously Tim." He says rolling his eyes. "Your precious Kol," I said back with a growl at the end. He glares at me and I smile. "Hurts doesn't it? And if you really wanted to hit home you could have said Jenna's name. Or Alaric or...well everyone. Including my parents and grandparents. Which I am leaving to move there." "You're not leaving Mystic Falls." "Oh, now you care where I go when just last night you wanted me out." "I wanted to kill you last night. Tyler comes in and they talk well they yell at each other and I groan coming down. "Shut up both of you!" "Oh shut it, sweetheart." I glare at Klaus taking a step towards him. "Make me shut up Klaus." He smirks before something pierce my stomach and he turns me around biting me. I gasp at this and feel my eyes flutter before falling. "That shut you up." I wake up on the couch and groan. "What the hell," I whisper hoarsely. I look over to Klaus remembering he bit me. "You bitch. You bit me." "You wouldn't shut up. We've been at it for two days now cant we stop." "Sorry you must not know girls can hold grudges forever and our forever is clearly a long time," I tell him and try to move but can't. Tyler wasn't even here that dick. "Yours is shorter now." I sigh and look him over. "You're scared that I know you well." He looks over and I keep going. "I see the part that's human. Plus we yelled at each other because that's what couples do. So I'm sorry about that." He sighs but doesn't move. I feel my eyes getting heavier and look at him. "Nik...I love you...Let me help...save you." "You're hallucinating sweetheart." I notice him turn away and close my eyes trying and failing to get air in. "Sweetheart. Hayley." I feel him fading but I could feel something pull me up. I felt something wet touch my lips and I open my mouth some and grab his hand. I can feel him holding me to him and breathe out.(morning next day so many skips)I answered my phone after draining a blood bag. "Hello?" "Someone has Damon." "You can't be serious." "I wish I was. When we got back from looking for Jeremy. Shane and Bonnie were both gone too. Shane needs Bonnie to cast a spell on the tattoo that Jer has and he manages to sneak both of them out from under our noses." "What does Damon have to do with this?" "We had an argument." I glared at Klaus once she said that knowing I punched him in the face last night and beat the crap out of him before he threw me out of reach of him. Yeah, we had a huge fight. "But then we went to the beach and saw signs of a struggle." "And?" "And nothing Hayley! Someone jumped him then took off with him!" "Oh god, I'm so sorry I wish I could help." "That tone suggests your lying. Thought you rooted us on." "Well, I've had a shitty night," I told her and threw a knife at a smirking Klaus who dodged it and it lodges itself into the wall. "Well, whatever can you do something from home?" "Sure what?" "Shane's looking for the cure. We can't find him but we have pictures of Jeremy tattoo to translate the map." "And you need the hunter sword that it has for it." "It?" "Klaus." "Why is he an it?" I hear Rebekah asks. "Oh, it's a whatever!" Elena says and I see Klaus trying not to laugh. "He would never give up the sword." "Well if anyone going to make him give it up it's Hayley." "He would never give up the sword. Not even to his bloody mate." I kinda zoned them out and placed my phone down. "I'll find it. Just shut up and find Bonnie." I tell her hanging up before she could say goodbye. "Need my help with anything love?" "Nope go to hell Nik," I said and he laughs. "Come here, sweetheart." I felt myself turn around and groan slamming my phone onto the counter (not to break it) and walked to him. "I thought you said I'm not sired to you!" "You're not. You're a holder which means you can do anything you want but if you're feeling something toward me, our sire-link or bond will make you do it." You don't really want to leave." "I want Bonnie to find that damn cure so we can destroy it." "Got the sword!" Caroline says walking in. "Elena sent you for it since I hang up on her didn't she?" "Yep." She hands me the sword and I pull at the handle. "What is this?" "Aramaic, sweetheart." "Don't call me that Klaus." "And we're back to arguing." "What am I missing here?" Caroline asks. "So she doesn't know!" He says smirking. "He bit me and Tyler left me here to die with Klaus." She looks between us before I sit down. "Okay, what is Aramaic?" Tyler asks walking in. "Dick." "Hi to you too Hayley." He scolds. "It's a dead language. Hasn't been used since biblical times." I said and Klaus sat down saying something that I caught onto pretty fast. "What does that mean." "If only you spoke Aramaic," I stated and they all look at me weird. "What? Oh, Klaus don't tell me that's a freaky sire-thing." "Well you're the first from the family so maybe it is." Tyler and Care groan hearing this and I roll my eyes matching the text quickly. Klaus walks over and reads it off as I go. "There's more." I frown looking at it. Klaus says it and they look toward us. "What does that mean?" "There's only one dose of the cure," I state and he chuckles. "The irony." Later that day they leave and I go to my room. My door opens as I ready my guitar. "You miss playing huh?" I jump at the sound of Klaus's voice. I turn around standing. "How the hell did yo-" "Something must have happened to Bonnie." "Don't kill Tyler please." "He tried to get me killed. Nearly took you from me. I'm killing him." I stand up grabbing his hand before he could leave. "Don't kill him, Klaus, please. He's my friend." "Tell Caroline that he better leave town before I kill him. Run to a place that I will never find him."
