Episode 3: School Days

Y/N POV

"Hey. Hey, wake up" I hear a voice in my ear as i slowly wake up, seeing that i'm at a desk... Oh yeah, i was writing down the notes on my Nosferatu. I get up and see that Ichika is getting ready for school

Ichika: "At least you're changed, let's go" He runs out the door, obviously in a rush, leaving me in the study room, i take a deep sigh and get my notebook and the Super Size Study Book

'Damn it, i didn't even get to take a shower, oh well'

I start running to our class, eventually catching up with Ichika and making it to the class just on time before plopping down in our seats, Ichika greeting Houki and taking out his notebook as i just take out the Mega Hanual and start reading since the teacher is just greeting us and taking attendance, i don't pay much attention, i just continue reading as the noise drowns out, until she calls out my name

Y/N: "Present" She looks confused and calls my name again

"Um, Mister Pasternak"

Ichika: "Man, we have to go to I.S. training" He taps my shoulder and i get surprised

Y/N: "How long have i been reading?"

Ichika: "About an hour, now let's go, remember today's schedule was for training. We all have to change"

Y/N: "Huh, oh uh roger that, i'm up" I get up and follow him to a door, where all the girls go in, as he waits outside "Don't we have to change?"

Ichika: "This school was all girls for years, so we gotta wait for them to finish changing then we can go"

Y/N: "Seems kind of inefficient"

Ichika: "That's what i told Chifuyu, but she just smacked me over the head and said to man up and deal with it"

Y/N: "Wow, harsh"

Ichika: "I know" We both laugh and wait for the girls to leave, once they do. Me and him go in, that's when i realize that i left my flight suit in that catapult room, Catapult 9 i think. I start to worry a little because i'll have to find my way back to it. That is until i see a cabinet that says, 'Pasternak' in big bold letters, kinda seeing a trend here, while Ichika gets ready, i put on my flight suit, then again, my jet is still in the hangar but it never hurts to be prepared i guess. Once both of us finish, we look at each other. Very confused

Y/N: "That's a very... odd thing to wear as a man" He doesn't respond to my question and instead retorts with a question of his own

Ichika: "That's also a weird thing to wear for an I.S." We both just stare at each other for a while, nothing really leaving our lips, that is until i cut the tension

Y/N: "Just, worry about it later, i'm pretty sure that Orimura will explain everything to everyone soon enough"

Timeskip 10 minutes

At the training field

Once at the field, i see something that i really didn't expect, my jet, in the middle of the field, with all the girls and even Ichika looking at it in slight awe and confusion, but to get everyone's attention, Orimura, who is now in a tracksuit, slaps a paper fan on the floor before facing the fan my way

Orimura: "Now to get it all clear, No Y/N Pasternak can not pilot an I.S." This sentence alone caused some surprised gasps from the crowd "He is part of an experiment on highly maneuverable aircraft, him and his Jet are the only part of this program" A bunch of whispers erupt from the crowd. That's when some girls raise their hands and Orimura calls on one of them to give their question
