The first encounter

Amelia's pov:
Today's my first day as attending at Grey Sloan memorial, I'm so excited because I'm working on a pediatric case with my brother.
I woke up early today cause I don't wanna be late on my first day, it's a new beginning and I don't wanna ruin it on my first day.

Derek's pov:
I was getting my patient's expedient when I run into Arizona
-Hey! Dr. Robbins!
-Hello Dr. Sheperd
- So, today we're working with my sister, it's her first day. I will introduce her to you
-Okay

Arizona's pov:
We were walking to the patient's room but what Derek said got me a little worried, I mean of course I wanna meet his sister but the last name "Sheperd"... Could be possible? Suddenly a female voice brings me to reality
-Is this the doctor who's on the case?- the woman behind me asks Derek, her voice was so familiar, I turn around and see her... is...

Amelia's pov:
I couldn't believe who was the doctor in the case, she was as surprised as me in that moment, Derek didn't understand a thing
-So you know each other?- he asked
-Yeah, we... Eh... - Arizona was so nervous and that almost made laugh
-We met at Hopkins, we were...- I was about to finish my sentence when a girls interrupted me, she seems to be Italian
-Hi sweetie- she said referring to Zona... Wait?! She called her what?!

Arizona's pov:
I was so lost in my thoughts and memories, I needed to process everything when suddenly Carina arrived, my beautiful girlfriend.
-Hello sweetie- she said to me, everyone keep in silence even Alex who just arrive- did I interrupt something?- she asked, this was already uncomfortable so I answered
-No baby, ready to go home?- I said getting closer to her
-Sure- she answered and I give her a sweet kiss, I took her by the hand and say goodbye to everyone
-See you at surgery tomorrow- I said referring to Amelia and Derek, then I left.
I need to process what happened today but now I just want to spend time with my girlfriend.

Amelia's pov:
After Arizona, Derek left and now it was just Alex and me
-That was awkward- Alex said
I was still shocked because of what happened, she has a girlfriend now...
-Amelia are you okay?- Alex aks
-Omg did she call her baby?- I ask, almost crying
-Maybe- he said, shrugging his shoulders
-I'm not okay- I said, Alex finally looks at me and sees I'm crying
-Play cool, cause she likes her- he answers trying to comfort me
-Cool- I answered- see you tomorrow, I have to go home- I said after a few minutes.
-Okay- Alex said and then I left, I need to calm down
