I walked out of the elevator and see Meredith I walk up to the nurses desk and grab my chart. she walks up behind me smiling "what are you so happy about" I laugh writing things down in the chart "I need to talk to you" she smiles. I follow her we stop and she turns to look at me "y/n?" she says "yes mere?" "im pregnant" she says. my mouth widens "no way" "yea" "no freakin way, were you trying?" I ask "no total accident" she says "were happy right?" she nods "oh my mere im so happy for you!" I say and hug her. she laughs "you gonna tell him? have you told him?" I ask "no I just found out" she said. "I need to get back to my charts. im very proud of you! very adult" "im proud of me to?" she laughs we walk in our separate directions "hey, I hope it has his hair" I turn around "me to" she laughs as we walk off separately.

I was standing at the nurses desk filing out charts when lexie and mark walked up. they were arguing about something. "sir you cant leave this area the hospital is in-" she couldn't finish her sentence. the man that was walking up the stairs turned around and shot her. "everybody get down" someone screamed. I dove down and mark pushed lexie down. mark looks at lexie then me. "your ok" he mouths. everyone was screaming and running. we crawled towards the nurse who was in a pool of blood. I tried to help. "y/n come on" mark said I didnt move I was froze. "y/n im getting you and lexie out of here" mark said and pulled me off the ground. we ran to the elevator and lexie pressed the button frantically. we covered our heads trying to protect our selves "come on" I yelled. the elevator door finally opened to a bloody mess. Alex was laying on the elevator floor in a bloody mess "Alex" I said. he was unconscious. "y/n" mark said trying to get me to focus.

I helped as we put Alex on the table and grabbed things. "we grabbed everything we could find" lexie said as mark put gloves on. Alex was awake "i...am...so..incredibly...pissed..off..right...now" he struggles in pain. "I know Alex just calm down. your been shot" I tell him he looks me in my eyes. "we have to get him out of here. he could come back" I begin to panic as they look at Alex. "theres no exit wound" lexie says the had his shirt cut to see how bad it was "y/n your gonna have to help us flip him." mark says "grab him under his shoulder" lexie says. I help "we have to get him out of here" I say "y/n hes losing blood" mark says. we roll him. he groans in pain. it hurts me to see him hurt..."start a I.V. and im gonna get a chest tube" mark said I put oxygen in his nose. "your gonna be ok Alex" I say worried. "im gonna kick that guys ass" Alex groans. I begin to panic I hold his arm above his head I rub his hair trying to comfort him. "Alex your doing really good" lexie says "I need to put in a chest tube" mark says "no..no..no chest tube" Alex groans. I look at him worried. "dont cut me" he says. "he doesn't want it" I say to them "y/n we have to." mark says. "maybe you should leave the room while we do it" lexie says. I look at Alex "im fine" he says in pain at me. "dont die, its y/n please dont die on me" I say "be...careful.." he groans. "please Alex" I start to cry. "kiss me" he says. I lean down and kiss him softly. "iim not gonna die" Alex whispers as I pull away. I get off the floor and look to see if the coast is clear. I walk out
