Alicia closed the book. She looked at Kat and at Mad.
Kat smiled, a small fang poking out from her mouth.
Mad smiled too with the tip of his hat.
"Perhaps," said Kat.
"It is time to meet a God?" Mad grinned.
Alicia looked at the book titled, "Alice in Wonderland" that lay on the table in front of her.
Then she looked at the book she held in her hands.
Her white hair moved as she got up from the fabric sofa with a canopy cover.
She set it down next to Alice in Wonderland.
On the book she laid down was the title "Al in Wonderland".
"Al's story.." she said in a soft squeaky child voice. "Is not over?"
Kat and Mad smiled.
"I want to... see them.. both.." Alicia looked out her window.
She was on the second to top floor of a large tower.
She saw the pillar shine brightly outside her window.
In the room there was no door but a window or two.
She focused her eyes and from that distance she saw the tree from the stories.
"I want to... meet them.." she said touching the glass of her window.
In a softer voice. In a low whisper she said.
"He cannot be dead.. for he is a God now.. yes?"
And the pillar of light vanished.
