Chapter 6

Saturday Afternoon

"Hello?" I overheard Ali on the phone. "No, she's still sleeping." She stayed quiet for a little bit but then I heard her say "Alright I wake her up, just give me a minute." I heard her walking toward me. She gently tapped my shoulder to wake me up.

"Y/n, wake up. There's a phone call for you. Wake up"

"I'm up. I'm up" I groaned

"There's someone on the phone for you."

"Alright here I come." I got out of bed and walked to where the phone was. "Hello?" I answered

"Rise and shine princess"

"Oh it's you. I thought it was my dad"

"Well you know, you can always call me daddy if you like." He teased

"Gross."

He started laughing, "How you feeling?" He asked

"My head hurts a ton, but other than that I'm fine. Why, what happened??"

"You don't remember?"

"No why, did I do something stupid??" I asked

"No, not really" he reassured me "it's a good thing I didn't kiss you then." He muttered quietly but I still heard him

"You were gonna kiss me?!!" I yelled through the phone "why would you kiss me?"

"Because you told me too." He yelled back

"I would never tell you to kiss me."

"Well you did last night" he joked

"Tell me everything that happened last night, don't leave out any details." After being on the phone for at least an hour, me and Johnny finally hung up. I got up and walked back to Ali's room.

"I'm back"

"Finally i can have my friend back" she teased. "So what do you want to do today?"

"Well let's see, I have to be back home at five and it's already two, so that gives us three hours to hangout." I explained "before we do anything, I need food."

"Ok yeah let's go to the kitchen, make brunch and brainstorm plans for the rest of the day."

"Sounds like a plan to me" I replied

We went down to the kitchen and started cooking a nice brunch for the two of us. Once we were finished cooking, we cleaned up the mess and then started eating.

"You going to the Halloween dance?" I asked. She nodded. "Do you want to match our costumes then?"

"Of course I do."

"So how's you and Daniel" I asked her, starting off the conversation

"I don't know. I really like him, but he still hasn't asked me out yet or shown any interest that he likes me back."

"Trust me Ali, I think the boy is in loveee with you. Maybe he just needs a couple hints to let him know you like him."

"I guess you're right y/n"

"I'm always right"

"Yeah whatever" she rolled her eyes "how's you and Johnny?"

"I have no idea what you're talking about" I said

"Oh y/n don't give me that. You guys are always flirting, staring at each other, you give each other nicknames, you guys were just on the phone for like an hour, and for crying out loud you guys were gonna kiss last night if you weren't drunk." She exclaimed
