Sometimes I forget you're an ember
Floating through remnants of dead fire
Sometimes I forget you don't last forever
When you ignite me
Warm me up in the middle of winter
You're nothing but a great liar
Disguised under your lips is danger
To lure in a lover
And then you disappear
Retreat like a hunter
After you've hit the target and go out for another.
