He was twilight
You were dawn
And I'm a lonely stargazer
Watching the sun move in and out of viewHe was twilight
With his ephemeral existence
The explosion of hues in purple skies
The chills down my spineYou were dawn
With your comfortable warmth and chill
The sun beams dancing from my windows
The tingles on my fingersI'm a lonely stargazer
Rowing my boat through unstable seas through twilight and dawn
Wondering if the stars look back while I'm looking at them
Witnessing the skies change colors against my will.
