I want to say I love you
And mean it to the moon and back
With romance in the middle
Instead of the ocean trackI want to say I love you
And not fear the absence of replies
Without the inevitability of pain
Bleed whatever the word impliesI want to say I love you
Because I really do
In a way you won't accept
In a way you don't want to be trueI want to say I love you
But life has made my heart calloused
So I'll keep my mouth shut
Like always been practicedI want to hear I love you
From your mouth
And I always do
But it's never true.
