I see a girl walk in the school and my jaw drops.
"Ooh, Y/n has a crush." Avani says.
"Shut up." I say.
"You're drooling." Addison says wiping my face.
I walk to the girl and she looks up.
"Hey, gorgeous." I say.
"Hi." The girl says nervously.
"I'm Y/n." I say.
"Uh, Charlie without the e." She says.
"So, it's Charli?" I ask.
"Yeah, I guess they sound the same." Charli says.
I laugh and Charli smiles.
"Who's that?" Charli asks looking behind me.
"Some idiot named Chase." I say.
"He's kinda cute." Charli says.
Goodbye, good riddance.
"Um, no. Stay away from him." I say.
"Are guys together?" Charli asks.
"Oh, hell no. I wouldn't date him if my life depended on it." I say.
"Stay away from him." I say.
"I met you 20 seconds ago and you're controlling me more than my own parents do." Charli suds.
Charli walks away and I groan.
"You can always date Nikita again." Addison says.
"No, thanks. That bitch is crazy." I say.
They laugh and I smile.
Time Skip
Everyone from our grade level lead on a plane headed to Arizona for a field trip. Charli had the window seat, I was in the aisle seat, and Avani was in between us.
The lights in the plane turn off and Charli unbuckles her seatbelt.
"Can I get past you?" Charli whispers trying not to wake Avani.
"Yeah." I whisper.
Charli gets up and the plane starts to shake. Charli lands on me and the lights turn back on. Avani looks at us and Charli and I stare at each other.
"You couldn't have went to the bathroom to do that?" Avani asks as Charli runs to the bathroom.
"It's not what you—" I say.
"Your pants are unbuckled, there's a hickey on your neck, and I see that condom wrapper on the floor." Avani says.
