The Mansion was mostly quiet as summer creeped closer and closer. Soon, about half the students would be sent home while the rest were allowed to stay. Not everyone wanted a mutant kid, after all.
However, there was still at least one kid still running through the halls. That kid's name was Bobby Drake.
Bobby kicked in the door to his dorm room where he found Hank sitting on his own bed typing on his computer.
Hank: Could you not do that? I can't fix doors as well as you think.
Bobby: You. Will. Not. Believe. What I just saw!
Hank: Bobby, now isn't....
Bobby closed the door behind him and walked into the room.
Bobby: Okay, so I went into the city for lunch because there's this street vendor on 11th that sells these sweet and spicy sausages, right?
Hank: Could you not tell me what I am sure to be an fascinatingly exaggerated story?
Bobby: So anyway, I'm standing in line for my sausage when this familiar looking brunette walks by. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Bobby was waiting in line bored out of his mind. His eyes ended up drifting around at the sights and sounds he had become accustomed to before he saw her.
A beautiful girl who seemed to be closer in age to his friends. But she was still beautiful. She was wearing some kind of ren faire sort of red pointy thing on her head but she pulled it off.

But Bobby wasn't going to lose his place in line to talk so some random girl. No. He was there for the food. But he kept a stable eye on her.
