She is the Shekinah of old,
The breath of God
Gone forth into the world
To caress the soul
And relieve it of material care;
She is the Wisdom of Christ,
Consort of the Light,
Co-equal of the Logos,
The spirit of the Unnameable,
The Mother of All;
She is the Bride of the Word,
The Understanding wed to Speech,
The Insight of the Impenetrable,
And the Lover to the Beloved;
Now is Her Day of Remembrance,
Today is the Time of Her Acceptance,
When She is called to mind once more
And the world is enriched
By the treasures of Wisdom;
Glory be to the Magdalene and to Her Christ!
