I don't see Olivia in the library when I get to school. I don't know whether to be disappointed or relieved. They're selling donuts in the school cafe and my mouth waters. I take out my wallet and grab a couple dollars. I walk up to the counter.

"How much?" I ask.

The girl eyes me up and down. "We don't sell to... your kind."

I squint my eyes. Is she trying to say because I'm gay, she won't sell me a donut? "What do you mean, my kind?"

She sighs and her eyes dart past me. "Next person, please."

I stand there for a moment, not knowing whether to laugh or punch her in the face. Let alone all the shit that's happened this weekend, I'm half-insane when I'm angry. I go with the latter and dive over the table. I grab the first thing I can and end up tugging her blonde hair and slamming her head on the ground. "I want a fucking donut!" I scream.

The girls bottom lip trembles. She nods and points to the table. I stand, gather myself, and grab a donut, not even bothering to pay.

All I have to do now is wait for the consequences.
