It's Monday morning and I can't wait to get to school (haha, I know, crazy right?) Olivia and I have been texting all weekend and she's all I can think about. I'm actually going to dress up. Why did she make me feel this way?
I pull on some dark skinny jeans, a dark green blouse, and my tan wedges.
This was a rare sight for me. I'm talking, I only dress like this for weddings and I never go to weddings. I even add a little eyeshadow and mascara. I attempted to do liquid eyeliner, but I gave up after the fourth try.
"Mia! We're going to be late!"
Even though she gave my phone back, my mom still insisted on driving me to school. "Besides," she had said, "we could use the bonding."
"Coming!" I call back.
I grab my bag and run down the stairs.
"Why are you so dressed up?" my mom asks.
I shrug, a smirk on my face.
