Some love stories don't end. they just hit pause, waiting for the right time and maybe a little courage to hit play again. They thought they'd moved on new lives, new routines, new playlists. But when a surprise reunion throws them back into each other's orbits, all those once-buried feelings start bubbling up again. Sure, there were heartbreaks, awkward silences, and a few epic misunderstandings. But also? Laughter, late-night talks, and a love that never quite went away. Now, with the past behind them and maybe a little more wisdom , they're faced with one big question: is it time to finally give their love story the ending or a new beginning that it always deserved?

"Alright," Max murmured. "I'm starting. Harrington. Discuss." Will made a happy, breathy sound. "Oh my God," he whispered. "Steve is so...." "So what?" Max pressed, already laughing. "Come on, out with it!" Will sighed. "So, so dreamy." Lucas's shoulder bumped Mike's. Max snorted, pleased. "Thank you!" Will kept going, words spilling out now that he'd started. "It's the hair and that stupid jacket." He laughed, then dropped his voice. "Also, he's got huge hands." Mike scowled. Lucas' shoulders shook beside him, silent laughter vibrating the floor. He leaned in and whispered, "Huge hands, huh." Mike hissed, "Shut up." Max, meanwhile, sounded delighted. "He totally does. Also, I saw him a few years ago with his shirt off and, oh my God!" Mike side-eyed Lucas. From the face he was making, it looked like he didn't think the situation was so funny anymore. Hmph. *** After Stacey's party, the gang ends up at the Wheeler house for an unplanned sleepover. Mike and Lucas eavesdrop on Max and Will's "girl talk" and stumble into a confession Mike was never meant to hear.

Andy didn't even look at him. "You want your boyfriend to leave here in one piece?" He glanced back at Will. "Then do it. Or Chance will break his arm." Chance's grip tightened. Mike hissed in pain. Will's chin dropped to his chest. His shoulders rose and fell with two shaky breaths. Then he sank down onto his knees. *** On a normal Thursday at Hawkins High, Will Byers doesn't show up for lunch.

This is something I've been working on for weeks, it's not finished quite yet and there's still some editing I need to do to fix it and get it right, but I hope it's still entertaining to read. I would appreciate any comments you'd give, I really need the feedback. There are parts that are cringy, I know, I was really just aiming for the "angst" factor and adding more plot, I didn't want it to be so cut and dry, that would be boring. Besides, I wanted to use some of the cringy parts to flesh out the character's relationships. And yes, I know a lot of it is overdramatic and really... bad, but it's fun to write so I'm essentially going to leave it alone until I start hating it. Oh, and the character Noah, I really meant to implement him more, so I may have to go back and add him more, along with Jessica and Alex's siblings, so there will be edits in the future with new scenes and more character development for those characters because I feel they deserve it.
