Have the courage to change your fate. '"What if I told you that I've seen the future?" he asks me. "What would you say?" "I'd scowl and say you've gone crazy!" I reply.' Within the past few years, all Ace has known is hardship and struggles. His home country of Edalekor was overrun by a tyrant king, his family was killed, and he ran away like a coward, joining a group of peace-fighters in the neighboring country of Ogilia called the Rangers. A few years later, he is the leader, until the Tyrant moves his attention away from Edalekor and to Ogilia. Within the span of a few weeks, he is back where he started with the only survivors of the Tyrant's attack on the Rangers at his side. Now he must add one more thing on his to-do list. He plans to save Ogilia and take back Edalekor from the Tyrant. But of course, nothing is as easy as it sounds. With his past catching up to him and secrets being revealed, Ace and the rest of the Rangers must do all they can to save the two countries or will die trying. Not to mention the appearance of a mysterious man who somehow knows what will happen in the future. With secrets being kept and Ace struggling to determine who he is, saving the two countries seems impossible. But nothing is impossible, especially if the mysterious future-knowing man is on Ace's side. And along the way, maybe Ace will come to terms with his past and who he is. Just maybe . . .
