I kept walking towards the road, minding to myself. I looked down for just a second to grab my phone. I ran straight into someone, a girl. "I'm terribly so-" my words fell off as I looked at the girl. She stood across from me with long, jet black hair and crystal clear blue eyes. She wore a dark navy tank with a white pair of skinny jeans. She looked at me in terror which I mirrored. I stepped back, blinking at the spinning mirror across from me.
"How is this possible?"
Mia Williams had her life set for her. A great group of friends, a loving father, a full ride into Harvard Law School next fall. She really did have it all. Yet she the only thing she didn't have was a mother to share it all. Yet life moved on. Mia never thought she had to worry about her life, or dread being older. Till her father's past comes to the playing field.
