Everyone knows the story of Peter Pan. But almost no one knows the story of the first ever Lost Boy, Theo. Spirited away to Neverland from ancient Greece, Theo has spent the last 2500 years as Pan's second-in-command, his gruff, sullen exterior a foil to Pan's violent, rage-fueled tendencies. With an ever-rotating cast of Lost Boys, Theo joins Pan in his adventures between Earth and Neverland, giving orphans a home, fighting pirates, doing whatever it is that Pan wants, all while Pan changes and reverses and messes with both his and Theo's ages (connected as they are), stunting their mental and emotional growth. Theo is content. Until he isn't. When Pan meets Wendy Darling, Theo can't stand her, always nagging, telling stories, stealing Pan's attention - and it's that last one that Theo really finds irritating. For the next 11 years, as Pan reverses his and Theo's age to match Wendy's - and then allows the two to grow up alongside her - Theo goes through changes both mental and physical (and increasingly emotional) that he is not prepared for. And he is especially not prepared to realize that he has completely and utterly fallen for Pan.
