Among the paradise of green palms and blowing light breeze on the Bali's Island, there was a holy haven for finders of harmony and spiritual self-awareness. These grounds were actually the sacred and well known Yoga Teacher Training Center, placed and surrounded by the generous arms of Mother Nature. Among the enthusiastic aspirants who sought the sacred place from all over the world was Maya, the curious yet eager soul with a spiritual thirst and the eagerness to fulfill it. Her heart was swelling with eagerness and her mind had been cleansed, making room for the endless whimsies that the quest held. With the new day arrived, the sky color-changed from soft pink to golden, bathing the earth with light. Maya and her other trainees got arranged in a circle with their mats to show the unity and interconnectedness of people. Under the leadership of the profound and supportive teachers, they go further and deeper into the ancient yoga wisdom, discovering the profound lessons that are offered to us through the breath, the movement, and the mind. Each sunrise held its own newness, as Maya discovered what it means to let go, just to be and thrive. Practice of asana, pranayama, meditation lead her to reach for the immeasurable possibilities that came from within - no other than her very own self which was patiently waiting for liberation and expression. Yet, it was not just the physical exercises and techniques that entranced Maya's heart but rather the shared experience of building a strong community and friendship among her fellow trainees that she treasured the most. Yoga, together, they were united as friends by yoga and their common pursuit of self-improvement, empowering and encouraging one another throughout every up and down, and forging bonds that would forever last.
