"I know you think you know what you saw, but let me explain-"
"Isn't that what they all say? 'Let me explain?' I know what you're gonna explain. You're gonna say you have to 'keep up your reputation' and that your ego comes first. If you're seen with me, your life is ruined. But let me explain this, Alec Suttons: if you really liked me, you wouldn't let your big fat reputation get in the way of things."
Meet April Brooks. She's not exactly considered popular. She's short tempered, loves to read, and wants to be an author. She wears glasses, always has her hair up, and is usually in the middle of an argument with someone. She's a pro at holding a grudge, and though the so called "popular girls" refuse to talk to her, the "popular boys" have no problem. They love to push her buttons. She says she hates them all. Well... Sort of.
Meet Alec "Ash" Suttons. Known as Ash for the prominent burn scar on his arm, Alec is the most popular boy in school. He's most definitely the hottest. He plays football, baseball, and lacrosse. He's a rule breaker. A trouble maker. A prankster. He refuses to listen to anyone, yet he manages to get straight A's in all Honors. Good looking, smart, athletic, confident. He especially loves to tease April Brooks. His friends say he likes her. Who would want to date a girl of that status? It would ruin his rep. He would never fall for her... Would he?
The two polar opposites realize that they might have more in common then they thought. Like both of them believing that magic isn't real, and how one bad boy and one nerd girl can fall for one another.
Can they both be proven wrong?
